When and if Kid activates all three Sanzu Lines, Shinigami-sama is a dead man...thing.

Finally saw the first episode on tv. Love the fighting scene between Jack the Ripper and Maka. The animation is well done. My only gripe, and since I've never seen the show subbed, is that Lord Death has such a high voice. I kinda figured he'd have more of a Christopher Lee type voice.

Around the battle for Brew arc I'd suggest switching to Manga to avoid the absolutely massive Gecko Ending.

I read the whole trope page. And doubt I'm going to watch the anime anytime soon. Only watched it today because I had access to the Funimation channel.

I recommend reading both the manga and the anime post-BREW.

Well the climax of the anime does give us giant-mecha Death City. That alone makes it worth watching.

Also the second opening to the Soul Eater Repeat Show is up.

@silver: no he hasn't, he's clearly enjoying being murderous. I've seen him in other fights, and while he had Calm Fury and Unstoppable Rage, this is the first time he sported a sadistic Slasher Smile.

Death the Kid is suppose to have Super OCD about everything be symetrical. They why is he okay with his hair being asymetrical with those three white bars on one side and not the other?

Yeah, the third episode makes it very clear that he hates his hair. Apparently dying it doesn't work for some reason.

His hair is immune to the "poison" of hair dye. I suppose his body just rejects all foreign substances.
