A direct bomb kills and leaves no remains.
You're not wrong, but I'm mainly thinking about Shigechi's death at the hands of the doorknob bomb - it definitely took time for the bomb to totally destroy him, and I feel like it's reasonable to assume that holds for all primary bombs. I feel like Kars might be able to take advantage of that brief window of time to regenerate.
In addition, I don't think Sheer Hear Attack could work, because Kars could emulate a cold blooded reptile - or even Dio's ice powers, maybe - and shield himself from the homing ability.
Bites The Dust I could see as working maybe, if he found a way to somehow trigger it on Kars, and then consciously avoid him until time caught up to detonation time once again - but even then that might not be effective: Bites The Dust didn't kill Rohan in one fell swoop, and Kars could almost certainly regenerate in the time between the first and second explosions.
Overall, I'm just not sure Kira is powerful enough to take down Kars - but of course, that's all hinging on my assumption about the primary bomb's taking a modicum of time to kill - if it doesn't, then Kira might just be able to walk up to him on the street, give him a solid pat on the back, and kill the Ultimate Lifeform.
Question: does anyone think Superfly could trap Kars? I feel like it could.

Kars could extract the point kira touched as a squirrel or something and let that explode.
I'm pretty sure that's not how that works. What Killer Queen touches is a bomb. When it pops, it is completely annihilated.
Not necessarily, Josuke was able to use Crazy Diamond to save Hayato when he started blowing up from touching Okuyasu.
Speaking of Santana, why was he the only Pillar Man who couldn't speak English/Japanese/whatever originally? Why was he the only Pillar Man not in Rome? Why didn't he have a Mode?
Why did Kars already know the name that Stroheim had just given him?
Boy is watching an episode of SC after missing the previous two an experience.
- I've missed the last couple of episodes of the SC dub but... did they just kill the freaking dog?
- That Stand is getting really intimate with Holly.
- Did that
butler guyROW-SAUCE just drop a man three times bigger than him with a single kick? - Oh, so Suzie Q is smarter than she lets on.
- I can't help but feel we're padding here - I just want to see them fight Dio now
- Holy crap is it awkward listening to Suzie talk about how reliable Joseph is knowing what we know from Part 4 with Josuke and his mom
Annnnd apparently Vanilla Ice was renamed "Cool Ice." That's lame.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!(2) Santana was a new-born Pillar Man I thought. He couldn't speak and didn't have a Mode.
As to why Kars knew his name... I'm still not sure about that one.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!It's Jojo, Araki will always kill the freaking dog if given an opportunity.
Which is ironic because he actually likes dogs.
One Strip! One Strip! That's just too fool their Evil Detecting abilities.
So, I'm doing a little reading about Requiem Stands. They sound kind of neat, curious to see how they're implemented. Seems like there's a debate over whether Bites the Dust is a Requiem Stand or not. On the one hand, there're apparently some pretty big differences, like that Bites the Dust can't think for itself and doesn't look significantly different. On the other hand maybe whether the Stand Arrow stabs the person or the Stand changes the nature of the Requiem Stand.
Stroheim guessed his actual name by complete coincidence.
You should watch the first two episode of the fight against Vanilla "Cool as Ice" Ice. It's one of the best and most tense fights in my opinion.
Man Ice was stone fucking cold.
Poor Polnareff though, guy has gonna through so much shit.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Yeah. Even ignoring the stuff that was kinda his own fault (we've gone over his bad tendency to rush off on his own, which nearly got Avdol killed the first time), the guy gets put through a ridiculous amount of crap.
One Strip! One Strip! Not even figuratively, given his consistent issues with middle eastern toilets.
Take a drink for every fight where Polnareff is attacked on his own (two if he runs off on his own), uses a mirror over the course of the fight, or involves a bathroom in the fight.
Would that make me drunk to the point where I'm absentmindedly telling people how much I love them or how much I hate them, or dead?
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.IIRC the reason dogs always die in Jojo is because killing a dog is the most evil thing Araki can think of so if he wants you to hate a villain he'll have them murder a dog.
Except if you're Kars.
Thinking of it, that may be exactly the point: respect for lifeforms in general but contempt for mankind.

... And that's called jazz!I actually think Kars was originally supposed to be on the level - honour bound, similar to Whammu and Esidesi. This is because originally he was supposed to fight Lisa Lisa 1 on 1 and lose outright before becoming Ultimate Kars and fighting Joseph.
But SJ in those days weren't super into a woman being so important in a shonen and they made Araki change it, so Kars instead tricks her and defeats her that way. That's generally the turning point where him being a Combat Pragmatist (or even outright coward) is cemented.
"And when the last law was down and the Devil turned round on you, where would you hide, the laws all being flat?"You can argue he only did that in-universe because he had just lost Whammu to "honor." If Joseph could beat Whammu in a straight fight, how could Kars beat his master without resorting to lesser means?
I agree. While the meta reason is true (it's very clear Lisa Lisa would have probably won that fight), there is some in-universe justification there as well.
One Strip! One Strip!Kars killed a squirrel, though.
Just ran across video about this, actually:
Personally, I'm not sure Killer Queen could take him down - Kira's bombs are powerful, but they do take a bit of time to do a complete kill - I think he might be able to regenerate in time, or at least enough to not die in one shot.
