I saw Josuke x Fugo art◊ in tumblr recently (like few weeks ago), weird how despite Araki showing women throwing their hands around men, the most popular pairings in the fandom are those between men, like how in Araki's artbook Dio enjoyed the company of two of his henchwomen, while in the work proper he shares chemistry only with male characters.

That makes me wonder. Giorno inherited DIO's charisma, Ungalo inherited his depravity, Rikiel inherited his determination, and Donatello inherited his wickedness. ...But which of DIO's children inherited his bisexuality? :p

We’ll yeah it’s because the developed relationships are between men.

So people are naturally into pairing characters they like together vs pairing them with some nameless background extra. That’s how the whole thing goes.

Hence why the only hetero ship the fandom seems collectively okay with is Gappy x Yasuho. They didn't have off-screen development, like with Jotaro x Jolyne's Mom or Johnny x Rina, nor were they Strangled by the Red String like Jolyne x Anasui. They had actual, believable; adorkable development.

@ RWBY: Would they inherit his bisexuality? Genetics wise they're Jonathan's kids after all...assuming Dio stealing his body hasn't messed with the DNA of Jonathan's body.

In the case of Giorno, DIO did kinda mess up Jonathan's DNA.

Giorno notably had darker hair in his youth which is similar to that of the rest of the Joestar line. He only became blonde after awakening Stand power.

In which case, why didn't Pucci helping them awaken their Stands cause Ungalo, Rikiel, and Donatello to become blonde? (Besides Donatello being blonde already)

Possibly because they needed help awakening that Stand power. Giorno otoh awakened Gold Experience on his own.

Doesn't make much sense, but it's about the only difference between Giorno and his half-brothers' Stand awakening.

So, place your bets. Once the Stone Ocean anime reaches "What a Wonderful World", how do you think the anime-onlies will react to the ending? Will it be raw anger over the cast bar one being killed off, confusion over how the ending should be interpreted, contentment in the heroes getting a bittersweet happy ending, unadulterated sadness over the implications of the ending, or perhaps even happiness for Steel Ball Run being soon to follow?

Something I was thinking about. We had concluded a while ago that the only way GER could undo Made in Heaven's time acceleration is if it's sent out before the acceleration activates, as it needs to register it as a direct attack against Giorno. But in the advent of that, are there any Stand abilities that could stop the time acceleration separate from Made in Heaven and reduce Pucci back to normal speed, since the time acceleration itself is what causes universe-wide devastation? We know Star Platinum: The World's time stop got shortened by Made in Heaven, so that's out of the running.

Soft & Wet: Go Beyond might be immune to it. Its whole thing is that it doesn't follow causality.

As an anime-only (Mostly. I read part of Stone Ocean up to the start of the Foo Fighters fight but otherwise I'm anime only.) who spoiled the ending to this part for himself yeards ago, I'm personally interested in seeing/excited to see the ending for myself in context. I'll let you know how I feel once it's all over.

People seem to generally be okay with Jonathan x Erina and Joseph x Suzy Q. It doesn't stop them from shipping Jonathan x Speedwagon and Joseph x Ceasar, but unlike in some other fandoms, I don't see much hate towards Erina and Suzy Q in a Die for Our Ship kinda way.

After watching this video, I'm more convinced than I already was that bad German dubs don't exist. I was already impressed by the German dub of SpongeBob, but Moira May as Jolyne is just... HOT MAMA. (Side note, Kira Buckland as Jolyne is like Phillip Reich as Giorno for me. Their speaking voices are absolutely perfect, but their ORAs and MUDAs are kind of weak.)

There's the possibility the anime might alter the ending a bit.

Anyway, speaking of Jojo mainly developing male characters since part 9 is likely to be the final part I would be really hyped if we had both a female Jojo AND a female Main villain. PART 8 spoilers there hasn't been a single female main villain in the series even though Kaato was initially shaping up to it. It's kind of funny she became a surprise protagonist instead.

Araki has shown he's gotten a lot better at writing female characters.

I hope to god they don't do that - the ending shouldn't be changed in any way, it's great as it is and just wildly misunderstood.

Well, at the very least, can the ending remember that Foo Fighters was a character?
