I'm pretty sure we're at least getting some out-of-cutscene party chatter, which is nice.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Random question, but do we know what, exactly, Cloud wanted from Hades in the first game? I can really think of only one reason Cloud Strife would cut a deal with the Lord of the Dead, and given a certain someone we meet in Traverse Town it... seems to have paid off, if you catch my drift.
As of BBS, I'd be more inclined to say it was about Zack. As far as how it was intended at the time...honestly, I don't know. It was never adequately explained.
Wasn't he looking for Sephiroth?
To like, you know, kill him and stuff.
Yeah they answer that question in the game itself: https://youtu.be/ivjNzBYyELo?t=421

I do writing, feel free to check out my stories here! https://numbugwritingblog.tumblr.com/post/686233243868102656/numbugs-shared-heroic-uniMorning Star: It’s called “The Story So Far.”
...Never mind. Been a while since I played. That makes sense.
That cutscene is only in the Final Mix version, mind you. In the original version, it's easier to infer that he's been looking for Aerith, given that the end credits show them reuniting.
You can talk to Aerith in the third district house at one point and she mentions that Cloud left Traverse Town.
Leaving Aerith and the rest of their friend group to find Aerith wouldn't make sense.
The way KHI and II text boxes mostly work is that the first time you press talk the NPC says one thing and the second time you press talk they say a second thing and then every time you talk to them after that they say the second thing. Forever.

Maybe he's looking for the other Final Fantasy guys that were lost when Radiant Garden became Hollow Bastion? Auron's in the Underworld, after all, so the likes of other Final Fantasy guys being there aren't far-fetched.
It's been 3000 years…Auron being in the Underworld while Titus is a... 11 year old kid on Destiny Islands never made much sense.
How does continuity?
Clearly, Cloud's quest was to get Aerith a new voice.
Results were mixed, to say the least.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?I thought the game implied that the Auron we see is supposed to be the same one from FFX, as in, he's not a KH version of the character like Cloud and friends. The TWEWY characters were the same, IIRC.
> How does continuity?
Don't think about it too much,it's a crossover game with final fantasy and disney characters
New theme music also a boxSo, in a future game, a sidequest like the Dalmatians in the first one, but with Stitch's cousins, Y/N?
625 cousins seem like a collection sidequest that's about as ridiculous as the Korok Seeds.
It's been 3000 years…Given that unlike the pups, Stitch's cousins tend to be superpowered mutants. A side quest involving them is going to revolve around puzzles and boss fights rather then randomly finding them in a chest (then again with them being dormant capsules unless hydrated I can see that being workable for them, especially since not all of them were found onscreen IIRC). The other issue is that they outnumber the pups more than 6 to 1 and that KH so far seldom references any of the tv spinoffs.
I'd thing a sidequest revolving around Stitch's cousins might be difficult to fit in.

Obviously not all 625, come on, just the ones we actually see.
Even then, that's a lot. I say pick seven or so, and use those.
Oh God! Natural light!Probably one from each triple digit bracket (One from 000, from 100, and 200, etc).
Watch SymphogearOn another but still weird-monster-related note, anyone else kinda find it weirdly heartwarming that with the confirmation of Bug Blox, every type of enemy creature is officially Back for the Finale? Though admittedly thus far we've only seen the good Dream Eaters, in some kind of attack that summons first a Meow Wow and then a stampede of every kind.
If you wanted, yeah.
You could also have a few more if you wanted some that weren't combat-focused, and required puzzles or just talking to people.
Oh God! Natural light!Speaking of Lilo & Stitch, they totally need to add Experiment 000 as a boss if they ever have another Lilo & Stitch world.
It's basically a Heartless◊ version◊ of Stitch.◊
This song needs more love.Okay, it been a while since I say any Stitch related media (and I haven't seen Stitch! or Stitch and Ai at all) so I want to ask where did 000 come from?
I'd also like to know.
Sora is a jerk to the residents of Traverse Town.

Every RPG with a party structure can benefit from having some sort of party chat function to help flesh out the characters beyond story points, as long as it isn't simplified to just telling you what your current objective is. Heck, just take a page from another of Square-Enix's franchises and do it like that. They don't even need to be voiced.
