Exp Zero is weird and dumb and bullshit. Just removing the EXP Zero ability turns Sephiroth's attacks from the three hit kill they are with EXP Zero to the one-hit kill they're supposed to be with Level One stats.

Fun fact, If you pick the Sword or Shield, at Level 1, with One-Winged Angel you have no MP.

Kingdom Hearts 1 was better without a Level 1 run, but it exists so I have to do it.

I mean, it could be worse.

Imagine Chain of Memories with EXP Zero.

At least in BBS you get commands and command slots and abilities without levels.

And Ignite was always pretty useful for. Most. Of the game. If you could get it.

So I kinda hate to ask, but do you think KHIII will actually be able to resolve everything? A lot of people seem skeptical.

Almost everything will get resolved.

But after Xehanort is dead, Mickey will ask Riku for his 5 bucks.

Cue credits.

I mean, supposedly it's just the end of the Xehanort Saga, not the series, so. I doubt it.

It’ll probably wrap up most things, but leave a few threads hanging for whatever they decide to do next.

Because the first instance of the joke was Ven believing an absurd claim.

Was Terra, Xehanort or the former's being interpreted as a gullible fool who always wind up duped into committing some form of villainy involved?

It still surprises me to this day that Goofy of all people is one of the Wisest people in Kingdom Hearts.

It kinda amuses me, really.

Goofy isn't the most knowledgeable of people, but he applies his knowledge well.

It makes sense because Sora's your typical shonen anime Idiot Hero while Donald's temper overrides his brain at times and Goofy's been a father before.

Knowledge is knowing how to cast Curaga. Wisdom is casting Curaga on the party member that causes a Game Over if he dies.

Dolan is knowledge. Gooby, though he doesnt use magic, gives you potions when you need them.

Goofy also gives you MP, which is a great boost to the sluggish MP regeneration in I.

Wisdom is also knowing to cast Curaga on the party member who causes a Game Over if he dies before anyone else heals him and not ten seconds after he's already been fully healed, Donald.

Wisdom is not typically one of the character traits Donald is known for.

I wouldn't say MP regeneration in KHI is sluggish. It's my favourite MP system.

I always felt like it took way too long to recover MP by hitting things.

KH 1's magic system was absolutely busted, but the way it worked still encouraged you to use your non-magic tools in combat (if nothing else, to help recover your MP), and allowed you to avoid being out of MP most of the time while still keeping you from spamming it long-term.

This is where I would compare it to KH 2, but I've yet to play 2 and am currently on Chain of Memories.

2's system is great but the real beauty of it is difficult to see in easier difficulties. Most people are just going to use cure to heal and not bother using most of the other magic because nothing much in the game encourages you to do otherwise.
