Angus job is to take on views he doesn't really have and protray them in a horrible manner while keeping a completely straight face...

And Penelope needs to get a grip on herself. The idea that anyone who has to live with their parents automaticallyis a loser needs to die in a nuclear fire - and even if it is true in this case it was bleedingly obvious that he was very much a blancmange in force of personality before, so why is she upset?

After the new comic I think she was more surprised that he didn't tell her about it.

As for the whole people who live with their parents are losers meme, I thought of a nice retort: Yeah well you know who was really cool and important and still lives with his parents? Jesus.

I love the text at the bottom on this one.

Okay, that's better.

And yeah, the news posts have been gold lately.

eta: Looks like he's doing commissions now. I'm kind of tempted to pay for a QC-styled Trope-tan.

I would happily read all of those fanfics. Wait, no, I'd actually rather not see what Pintsize's plans are. But the other two, totally.

In that case, I'd call it an eel launcher rather than what it would appear to be. Her being a robot and all.

Something like that should come standard on anthro-P Cs. The types of people who need that sort of thing are the same as the people who'd get an anthro-PC. It would do a lot of good for geeks to get out more (myself included).

... you know, I'm kind of hoping they introduce Hannelore's parents while it's still possible, before they go the way of the Noodle Incident or the Little Red-Haired Girl, where any possible version of them would be vastly inferior to what the readers have built up in their minds.

Hannelore: "My mom misplaced a decimal point once and the Argentinian economy collapsed!"

... wait, what?

... you know, I can't believe I had completely forgotten that mini-arc? Hannelore's mom is like a psychotic female Uncle Scrooge. It's great waii.

Oh, does that mean Hannelore has three precocious nieces and a cousin who is a perpetual Butt-Monkey with a smidge of Unstoppable Rage?

'Cause that would be awesome.

I think QC has unusually good guest comics, fwiw.

Momo-samas should be mass-produced to create a better society!

Actually, my reaction to Momo taking over here was the opposite of (apparently) most people's: I thought it was a sign that she could be really dangerous. After all, annoying though he is, Pintsize is always clearly subordinate to Marten because Marten can duct-tape him if necessary. If an AnthroPC wants to be a crapshoot of an AI, it's obviously going to have use non-physical power. I think Momo's got the emotional manipulation chops to pull off The Computer Is Your Friend. I mean, the first time Momo helped Marigold be social, it was "let me translate what you're obviously saying, and you can make your own decisions." Here, the opportunity for socialization is obvious, and yeah, it's probably better that Marigold do what Momo wants in this case, but that's not "Yeah, okay, I guess you're right" in her eyes, that's "Don't hurt me! I'll do whatever you say without thinking!"

Not that I didn't think it was hilarious. Hey, Marigold might be better off with Momo running her life.

In a very real way, Marigold is Child to Momo's Parent. That's the reverse of Marten and Pintsize.
