Japanese trailer:
Finally! And with all versions on one package too (though there's little reason to play 3 White lol)!
Hoping they use Double Team DS and restore 6's cut content.
But otherwise YES.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?6's post-game got done really dirty and it'd be nice if it could be playable outside of modding. I do wonder if they'll fully embrace the JP only Boktai content or leave it as it was in the original games.

Oh frick, what?!
I'm so used to getting my video game news from leaks that this came out of nowhere! And it's all the versions of each of the (technically) six games too!
Like, did anyone see this coming (apart from Protodude apparently)?!?
Also, side note: theoretically speaking, the next Mega Man Legacy Collection should be themed on Mega Man Legends, right?
...Right?
Legends and Star Force are the only two subseries that haven't gotten a collection, and at this rate I can't see them not doing both.
Aw rats, I actually forgot about Star Force...
All three Mega Man Star Force games on the Nintendo Switch would be awesome.
That trailer announces that the collection comes with "All 10 Battle Network games," but clearly counts different versions of the same game as two separate games.
I'm happy.
Although I'm concerned about the secret chips from 2 and 3.
I dont see any confirmation of online pvp. I kinda need confirmation before absolutely through the moon with this. But even then, what an AMAZING day.
The Virtual Console rereleases on Wii U already made the effort to give you them all at once after getting the "no Link Cable" error message, including Giga Chips that were previously exclusive to events in Japan. Given how comprehensive the collection is this time around, I'm expecting they'll handle it similarly here as well.
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaA Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection would great. All 3 Star Force games, along with Shooting Star Rockman: Wave Change! On Air! and Rockman.EXE: Operating Shooting Star.
Also it would be nice if Battle Network Legacy Collection also Rockman.EXE 4.5 Real Operation, Battle Chip Challenge, Network Transmission, the two mobile games (Phantom of Network and Legend of Network), Rockman.EXE WS and the Arcade games (Rockman.EXE Battle Stadium and The Medal Operation) though that's unlikely.

I know about the Virtual Console. I just don't want to jump tp conclusions and have hopes crushed.
I just hope the Game-Breaking Bug stuff get dealt with.
Cibrylls have trouble picking which avatar to use at times, so it changes on a whim at times~Oh my god, HYPE.
This series is my childhood.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.I hope they keep the random swearing in 2.
holy fuck these games defined my childhood
FINALLY THEYRE BACK
"Have a good day. Have a good week. Have a good month. Have a good year. Have a good life." ~CiviaMy only regret is that I was gonna plan to make a game as a spiritual successor to MMBN games since barely anything has replicated it, and now with the collwction it feels far less unique.
On the other hand, I will have the entire collwction in my hands to draw inspiration from.
to be fair, Battle Network's combat is still pretty unique. I know One Step From Eden has expanded on it with a larger grid and a much faster pace during the battles, but it's not the same.
Part of the reason why I still highly prefer BN over Eden is because BN is not a roguelike (I'm not really into the genre), and because there's also a lot of places to explore and people to talk to. That's something that's missing from Eden for me, where it's just fight after fight without much else inbetween.

One Step from Eden is just too fast for me to process.
Trans rights are human rights. How much did Starforce use the touch screen outside of menus and battle? A Legacy Collection probably would be plausible if the touch screen stuff can be substituted.
Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru!I remember Star Force 1 using the touchscreen for a bunch of its puzzles, but more in the "we have to shoe-horn it in, because the DS is new" way, iirc. It's been a while since I played the game, but I imagine it being stuff that could be done with the buttons and sticks
