I also sucked pretty badly at the demo, but that's me just being plain bad at platformers in general.
Other than that, I did really enjoy my time with the demo! While there are some things that feel a little awkward (like Mega Man hitting his head on ceiling corners even though his head doesn't look nowhere even near them, or the screen stuttering slightly if you jump while moving in one of those long rooms that scroll with you), I'm pretty sure that those might be corrected by the time the full game launches.
Funnily enough, I didn't really notice any input lag while playing the Demo on the Switch's handheld mode, even though I saw a bunch of people claim that it does have input lag in handheld mode on Twitter
They release an English voice cast yet? Megs sounds a bit like Sonic to me.
Just beat the demo. It's mostly a pretty good game (even if some of the level design nearly makes me tear my hair out), but I think I'll have to play on Newcomer Mode when I play the real thing. I did manage to make it through the level and beat the boss, but it took me all 5 lives and an E-tank to do it. I still like the Classic series, but I'd be lying if I said it was the one I was best at.
Doctor Who — Long Way Around: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13536044/1/Doctor-Who-Long-Way-AroundI still don't know what system I want 11 on, but I played the demo on PS 4. One of my friends complained about lag during jumps while the screen is scrolling (I think someone mentioned that here too), but I didn't notice anything.
Other than that, this game makes me feel like I'm better at the X series than the Classic series, but I didn't have too many issues on Normal. I think the Gear system is what's throwing me off; it'll take a while for me to get used to.
Block Man was fun, but his fight reminded me more of Shovel Knight or Gunvolt than Mega Man. Not that that's a bad thing.

In a sense, the X series is easier than the Classic. It helps that the Classic was born in a time when Nintendo Hard was the norm.
Growing up, it's like a civil war, don't turn away, it's something you can't ignore...The Classic series is all about precision platforming. The X series welcomes faster and more aggressive movement.
Funnily enough, Mega Man 11 looks much more frantic than any other entry in the Classic series.
Growing up, it's like a civil war, don't turn away, it's something you can't ignore...That conveyor belt/giant grinder combo is a bitch.
That reminds me of people playing RKS. Classic Mega Man is almost always hard, people just popularly think its easier than it actually is because they've had lots of years to practice. But when something new comes out, it's suddenly a reminder how much precision and focus it takes to play.
The games that come after Classic may have more complex bosses, but as said above, the aggressive playstyles that come with it make it easier in the long run.
"No will to break."Hey for anyone who played the Zero series...remember the first real boss, Aztec Falcon? way too many moves huh?
Compared to what comes after, Aztec Falcon is actually simple moves wise. The advantages he has are 1) it's a Timelimit Boss, 2) his invulnerable wings often get in the way, and maybe 3) you're underleveled at this point.
We can never truly eradicate the coronavirus, but we can suppress its threat like influenzaAztec Falcon is easy. Just don't try to slash him. Watch his patterns and shoot him when you can.
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireNearly an hour of some person talking about the bad points of X8 and also some good points.
This would have been relevant several pages ago when we were talking about whether X8 was overrated or just rated.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersThanks for sparing me the click. If it takes a whole hour to bash a game, it's because the guy's full of crap. (Reasonable length for criticism is fifteen to twenty minutes and no more.)

Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireI realized that too late around after I typed and posted the third post.
The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests.
So, I tried out the demo and it's pretty great but I still suck ass at Classic Mega Man and I don't know why. I've beaten every X game except 7, 8 (maybe), and Xtreme. I've beaten every Zero game. I've beaten both ZX games. Yet I don't think I've ever beaten a Classic game and I'm still just terrible at them.
