What form of power is this?
Waifu Power.
Watch SymphogearGFV is an Arcsys games, surely Johnny is the more natural comparison
Song of the SirensKamiya-sensei would really like to explore such DMC ideas like a DMC Zero featuring Sparda and Dante vs. Bayonetta...
Kids these days
Where is their motivation?
Waifu power is better. Change my mind.
Watch SymphogearWhy would I try to change your mind from the truth.
The youth is into prettier graphics.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."And I'm generally on the side of youth, anyhow. I might be 28, But i don't intend on becoming grumpy and Jaded.
Watch SymphogearFoolishness◊ youths, foolishness.
Prettiness controls the bloodline of Sparda.
And without prettiness, you cannot be a son of Sparda.
Let alone a playable character.
Though the Sons of Sparda have evolved from slim pretty boys to more rugged hunks.
Even Nero’s noticeably become more macho.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Yeah I mean it's fair to say the term pretty might no longer apply, but I'll not just relent on the matter without a group of Ancient Greeks to defer their judgement on the Sons of Sparda's prettiness.
Anyone who thinks Narmaya is hotter than Vergil is a fool and also probably blind
Song of the SirensThen who needs eyes or a brain.

I am unfamiliar with the character. I will judge Narmaya's hotness level largely by how likely she is to step on me.
Granblue May Cry Crossover when.
Dante vs. Vergil is old news
Vergil vs. Narmaya is the thing
Vergil has a Narmaya waifu pillow
unpossible, vergil's only waifu is POWER
He had sex once and decided he didn't like it
Song of the SirensWhat's this, we're shipping Vergil with a gacha waifu now?
I like it...
With Great Power, Comes Great MotivationHi, I’m new. One of my favorite Twitch streamers just just finished playing through these, and I saw enough to know that I’d like them. I’d been meaning to try the series for a long time, but seeing what they look like in action is what pushed it to the front of my wishlist.
I know I could skip to 5 if I wanted (especially because I’ve seen most of the story from the streams), but I’d rather start with the first one. I hear the playstyle is similar from 3 onward (which is part of why I’m not skipping to 5 - I need the practice!), but I still want to start with 1. I know it hasn’t aged too well, but the early and mid-2000s were my formative period as far as games go, so I have an idea of what to expect. Right now I’m two missions in.
I heard the Switch version of 3 has a few new features, so I got 1 and 3 on the Switch, and I’ll get 4’s special edition and 5 when I’m done with those. Hopefully the jump in consoles won’t screw me up too much. Any differences in control scheme I should know about?
Normally I give controversial entries in series a try when I start them, just to see what I think for myself, but the impression I get is that 2 really is that bad. Might give it a try later (it’s only $10), but I’m skipping it for now. Also I’ve heard bad things about the reboot, and I’m not really interested in it anyway. Is at least fun to play, or am I better off ignoring that one too?
The reboot is actually a pretty decent game, and had good ideas that made it into 5, it's just not as in-depth a combat system as fans of the previous games were used to, and the writing/story is not great. Not great bosses either on the whole.
Just make sure to get the Definitive edition if you go for it, there's a certain colour-coded enemy mechanic that is a massive buzzkill in the original build that is then fixed (along with a bunch of other things tbh) in the latter.
As for control scheme, probably not, it might play havoc with muscle memory, but idk.
"...in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach."Seconding the reboot being a very enjoyable game. In terms of just pure, sheer fun, I still put it a smidgen about DMC V. Story's garbage, thought, but the visuals and music manage to make it work in a weird way.

"when you stare too long into the abyss, Xehanort takes advantage of the distraction to break into your house and steal all your shit."
Vergil playable in another thing before DMC5
