I have to say, if this becomes the concluding chapter in the Sons of Sparda arc, and Dante and Vergil end up biting it or retiring, I want DMC6 to have Dante's daughter as the devil hunting rookie and Nero as the more experienced character.

I always assumed that Dante was completely oblivious to the concept of sex, barring with Oedipus complex with Trish.

I know the fandom's headcanon is that Dante is an eternal virgin partyboi who has no concept of sex at all and probably thinks babies spring out of pizzaboxes or something, but sod that all if I can get a younger female version of him as a playable character in the future.

Like a less-sexual, teenage Bayonetta? I could be down with that.

If Dante's Daughter becomes a thing I'd laugh if she was a major Chuunibyou who takes her "Dark Destiny" too far and whose completely unnecessary flourishes are made fun of by the bad guys, only for them to get their asses handed to them. You know, like Owain. It would be a good way to differentiate her while still having the core insane style the games are about.

Also petition for her mom to be Lucia because it would be funny to me if Vergil "Demon might makes right" shacked up with a human and Dante "My Human side makes me strong" fathered someone with a demon.

I think V's got our chuuni quota covered. He's just so over the top and Tarantino esque about it it loops from cringe to charming.

There's a summary of the prequel novel to DMC5, Before the Nightmare up. It covers the prologue chapter so far.

It actually gives off the vibe of an Ace Combat cutscene.

We’ll be Yakuza level if Nero has his story situated entirely on Earth while Dante’s levels are primarily him adventuring through Hell.

I mean I think there are different degrees of has more then one main character.

Honestly, having some Kiryu-esque bruiser as a playable character sounds like it could be fun. No special powers, no demon heritage, just sheer grit and the power of your extremities.

Considering Dm C is World of Awesome & Lady’s capable of some crazy shit despite being human, it be pretty believable really.

I did say specifically Yakuza level though.

Forget Expies, I'd say we should bring in the actual Kazuma Kiryu. He and Dante have actually met before.

Kiryu is more likely to be in Devil May Cry than he is in Tekken.
