Yesterday in TF 2 I managed to singlehandedly kill a Heavy as a Medic.

Recently beaten:

  • Mega Man 7 8-bit version (a freeware version reprogrammed from scratch using a custom engine, and using Studio Pixel's PxTone program for music). it is almost exactly the same as the original game, except with the following differences:
    • no intro stage or clown boss stage
    • all 8 robot masters accessible at start
    • no "super effective stun"
    • no Rush Search; items that require it are placed in alternate (but originally used) locations
    • no bolts (so the hyper bolt location now has something else), and no Auto shop
  • Mega Man: Dr. Wily's Return (an NES-style Mega Man fangame)
  • Rockman No Constancy: a Mega Man 2 romhack (holy shit, savestates REQUIRED)

How exactly does that thing attack anyway?

Dr. Wily attacks by shooting fireballs, flying around while trying to impale The Kid with the spike on the hoverbowl's underside, and dropping smaller versions of those giant bowling balls Bowser shot at you in Super Mario World.

To beat Wily, you must shoot at the bowling ball while Wily is flying overhead. For some reason that almost barely make sense in the context of the game, your bullets will ricochet off the ball and hit Wily.

My problem is that I'm never seem to be able to clear the jump over the bowling ball.

I just need to beat him and then I can go through the gate.

I got around to finally beating Twilight Princess (I know, I know). I also got all the "flawless" achievements in Rock Band 2 by getting 100% on all instruments on expert on at least one song.

I just beat Persona 3, now, I'm off to play P2 and beat it before the PSP P1 game is released. Why? Because I'm playing the games backwards.

Late reply to something off the last page:

I always wondered why they didn't just make the entire 3D playing field available to you, rather than doing the "closer or farther from the enemy" 2D area of movement thing. I was later told that this was because that was tradition.

That, and it was the first of the series that wasn't in full-2D. It was easier to put every character on their own X-Y plane and base the enemy AI off of that than it was to have them deal with full 3D movement. In fact, one of the key problems with Tales Of The Abyss was that it was very easy to screw with the enemy AI by going into free-run (full-3D movement) mode.

In World Of Warcraft, I recently got the Loremaster achievement on a second character (that's a lot of time), and also finally got the White Polar Bear Mount on my main the other day. Our guild also defeated Mimiron in both 10 and 25 man modes in Ulduar for the first time, so we're ready to face General Vezax.

Credit-feeding Razing Storm is not an accmplishment. Neither is this shit-assy score.

However, beating 33's on an arcade Pop N Music machine when I previously could only do them at home is sort of an accomplishment.

My level 14 Oblivion character is now sitting on a a pile of 30,000 gold coins. This considering I have not sold a single one of the quest rewards or unique weapons you get in the game, and that I fully outfitted one of the plugin homes, not to mention the custom enchanted electric Amber sword I deemed to call ‘static cling’ (Points to whomever gets the reference.)

Other than achievements, I 100%'d Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise some time ago.

I think I was the 936th person to do so, you get something special if you are one of the first thousand people to complete the game entirely.

I can't claim the prize though due to lack of Vision Camera. D:

Finally beat The Answer in Persona 3 FES. I like the true ending of Persona 4 better, as it's an actual happy ending, but The Answer had a solid, intelligible ending.

I've also beaten Romancing Saga with all eight characters, and killed Saruin after offering up all ten Fatestones.

Got up to question 72 on The Impossible Quiz, then had no idea what to do other than skip, but I know that'll make the game Unwinnable.

I also beat Prototype. Now I'm just looking for the rest of the Web of Intrigue targets.

Oh jeez, Web of Intrigue targets. Best of luck to you; it took me hours to find them all.

Also, if you don't mind a suggestion, look from the air. Jack a copter, fly around until you see one of the orange icons on your mini-map, bail, and run the rest of the way. It's how I did it, at any rate.

Also also, they generally spawn in the same area, so if one of them dies (and they will; they're suicidal little lemmings), get away for a while, then come back and retry. No cost except for wasted time.

I beat Nabunaga's Ambition (NES) on 50 fief mode without cheating. Haven't done that since I was 11, and then only once.

Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.
