This thread is for quick questions. A "quick question" is a question which has a relatively quick, generally factual answer; a question which is not likely to inspire an extended discussion.
e.g.
Quick Question: How tall is an average ten-year-old boy?
Not a Quick Question: Why are Americans obsessed with guns?
Quick Question: Why is ALS sometimes called Lou Gehrig's Disease? Who was Lou Gehrig?
Not a Quick Question: In Alan Dean Foster's Thranx Commonwealth series, is Pip a Mary Sue?
Get the idea?

What part of the swimsuit is the "bikini" referring to?

^^ The whole thing, originally. Now "bikini" can be used as a modifier to refer to the whole swimsuit ("She wore an itsy-bitsy, teeny-weenie, yellow polka-dot bikini") or to a top (triangles fitted to cover some part of the breasts, with very narrow straps around the back and over the shoulders) or bottoms ((cut high on the hip, or with no fabric on the sides at all) cut in the same style.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Why is it that my red LEGO blocks stay red, but the white ones turn beige and end up being impossible to clean without the use of things like bleach?
If people learned from their mistakes, there wouldn't be this thing called bad habits.Sticky!
Awesome. Did I just evoke the stickying of a thread?
Well here it goes.
It bugs me that Pay Pal's help system does not directly tell me whether or not a purchase I make on ebay withdraws from a Gift Card I attached to my account, or from my bank account which only has 1.25 and cannot deposit into anymore since I live in a different state?
Do any eBayers have an answer?

Troper PageOxidation.
You got some dirt on you. Here's some more! How successful will the recent stickying of this thread and that other one be in cutting down on pointless new IJBM threads?

It's good for people who read.
But for those who think "MY ONE-SIDED COMPLAINT ABOUT NOTHING WILL MERIT DISCUSSHIN" continue to post, not as much.
Troper PagePlus it works for those times where you can't make a thread for some reason.
Troper PageYour Firefox is very purple.
@Dyre #59: That's what we're going to find out. Hopefully, a great deal.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.I wish I could modify it more DYRE. I want a picture of Uboa on here.
Troper PageIf anything, Random Complaints will probably be used well enough. Quickie Questions may take some time, though.
♥♥II'GSJQGDvhhMKOmXunSrogZliLHGKVMhGVmNhBzGUPiXLYki'GRQhBITqQrrOIJKNWiXKO♥♥Hopefully so.
We just need to make the regs aware of it's existence and that it NEEDS to be used.
Troper Page^^^ Make a Persona, then?

What's that?
Troper PageWhat is a pointless thread?
I dunno. But everyone else keeps talking about them so they must exist.
Smart-ass.
*baseball bat*
You do realize that this means this thread is also pointless?
I don't know but I know what you are talking about. I think.
