Next episodes preview literally spoils everything Katakuri does after finding out what Flambe did.

Jesus Christ Toei don't you know how to build suspense?

Does anyone feel that Toei is invoking the Female Gaze on Katakuri? He gets a lot of body focus shots like the attractive females in this series. I can't wait until next week when he rips of his shirt. Fangs or no fangs, he's sexy as hell.

He's hot can you blame them? He even has monster features and that turns many on. Not just girls either.

I am surprised his character page doesn't have Even the Guys Want Him, since Flampe's subordinates seem to be very smitten with him before he revealed his fangs.

So apparently, the series will end with a little over 100 volumes. And we're at Volume 91.

Also Oda hates the whole “It’s the journey that matters” spiel.

So One Piece is hopefully gonna be something substantial than like sentimental memories or shit like that.

The series will probably end by late 2020-early 2021 provided there are no delays. By then, it would have been close to over 23 years.

We're 8 chapters past the end of volume 91, and there are on average 10 chapters per volume, so to end with "just over 100 volumes" (taking that to mean "more than 100 volumes, fewer than 110 volumes"), at Oda's current pace, that's still anywhere from roughly two years of One Piece at the least to around five years at the most.

The way WCI got stretched out near the end, I'm betting it'll be closer to five years than it is to two.

Huh, I've been thinking the story would have like five years left, but if he really pushes it I could see like three.

eh, I could see 120-125 volumes being a thing.

Me too, considering Oda himself said the timeskip (60 volumes) was at half of the story... besides, since when are Oda's predictions about the lenght accurate?

After what happened with Kubo this is making me pretty concerned for his health, I must say.

Yeah, the health of mangaka working for Shonen Jump is always a concern. And I myself won't pay too much attention to any estimations given by Is a or the editor since the estimations have been off the mark in the past.

I mean, Oda is notoriously bad at estimating how long things will take. He thought he'd be done by Alabasta, for one.

No, he originally planned for the story to be five years long, but then things changed. That's not quite the same thing as guessing percentage of the story over, although I never really put stock in that either.

You are right that is unsettling.

I'm very interested in seeing what Ym-sama can do. I would not be surprised at all if they're stronger than even the Emperors.
