Just post whatever comes to mind.

Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

Google Hangouts wants me to allow it access to my webcam and microphone, yet for some arbitrary reason won't even give me the means to do so. I've tried basically everything. I'm clueless. Anyone else experienced this or is it just my laptop being a potato?

Adding onto that, my little brother has learnt the technique of puppydog eyes.
Seriously I have to cook way more than I want to eat like every time.

Seeing the picture of the praying mantis made me remember this one.
I still find it a bit hard to believe that the graceful and elegant praying mantis is related to the much-despised cockroach.
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.Roaches can be pretty too.

I really do find cockroaches cool looking when they're not in my apartment. Same thing with mice and rats. Like a few days ago I was waiting for someone on a street in Manhattan and passed the time watching some roaches crawl around some food someone dropped. I pass the time in a similar way when waiting for the subway, watching the giant mutant subway rats dart around in the tracks.
But if there's a cockroach in my apartment all bets are off. If praying mantises constantly invaded my apartment and snuck up on me when I was sleeping I'd hate them too.

Sometimes I see these tiny cockroaches crawling about and I can't kill them because they are too small and I'm not going to bug spray kitchen utensils.
I had an opossum in my back yard a few times. One of them looked like a Volkswagen with a tail.
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue. My old neighborhood had a lot of possums. And deer. SO MANY DEER. The combination of the town being on a lake meaning your yard was essentially a swamp and the deer eating everything meant you could only grow like two different things in your yard that would survive. And grass wasn't one of them
Sounds like a good place to go if you're in the mood for venison. ;P
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue. Our house is usually bug free until winter hits.
Then spiders and ladybugs enter my room, and the ant empires of outside begin routine incursions, halting when they discover the mighty Havanese puppy dog, dedicated to protecting the kitchen and licking up the small moving black candies.
That could be a good thing too, though. I heard that people used to tie praying mantises to their beds with strings so that they'd catch and eat any unwanted insects while people were sleeping.

I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.Summer is bug season for us. The cockroaches come in multitude. Rodent season, on the other hand, is year-round.
The only bugs I get are moth larvae and ants. Holy fuck so many ant invasions.
One summer we had grubs that were born in a box of some food ingredient (flour? brown sugar?) and they crawled on the ceiling and were honestly disgusting. Another year we were terrorized by a moth with seizures in our bathroom.
On mice, yeah they hang around a lot. I think all rodents are pretty cute so it won't bother me. But once I made rice krispie treats and kept the container on top of a small toaster oven. The last square was gone one day and I thought "hold up, why didn't the person who ate it wash the container?" Well, my mom found it about three feet away, next to the oven (the mouse lives behind the oven) with bites taken out of it. Not only did this mouse climb a bit, but tried to drag it home but gave up part ways in and just ate some and hid.
Life is hard, that's why no one survives. You have mice living behind your oven too? And here I was thinking that I was the only one
I told my sister that's one of the things I like about our new townhouse compared to our previous house: so far, we haven't had any mice.

I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.Whenever there's an especially tricky pest I have to deal with, I end up naming it. Most of the time posthumously, except for a recent rat in our backyard we dubbed "Roberto".
We occasionally have pests, though traps usually stop them for a short bit.
There was one recent rat in the laundry room.

My apartment is littered with traps at all times. But given the general lack of floorspace in this shoebox, we end up getting trapped in them more often than mice do.
My cats have a "Kill and eat ANYTHING that isn't another fellow cat or the person who feeds me" attitude, so woe to any pest or errant stranger who enters their domain. The only other creatures that appear in the house with any regularity are the occasional carpet beetles that are too small for the cats to care about and feed off their crumbs and dander, and the occasional parson spider that in turn preys on the beetles and their larvae.
Fuck the blue gem path in Sphynxinator.

June has always been that time of year when I focus on the following topics;
Summertime
The end of the school year
And
Graduation
Yet, I just haven't been in to it recently. I was barely able to get into the mood for the anniversary of my graduation and I'm still not entirely sure if I fully got into the summer mood. I mean, by the time I'm done posting this, it'll likely still be the summer solstice and I've only watched a handful of stuff relating to that to get me in the mood and I only did it once. I'm just not in the mood for it at the moment.
This has actually been a problem for me earlier this month; when trying to get into the mood for last day of school and graduation memories, part of me was still too hung up on what I wanted to do with the fictional stories that I'm writing. And now, I also have an upcoming reunion that will likely occupy my thoughts in addition to my need to write. What can anyone make of this!
How am I this tired right now? It's only 9:00 PM where I am!
He may be a giant, nightmarish brute, but like all villains in this series,he sure can sing.
