I wouldn't really say that TV Tropes has affected my marriage much at all. To her this is "that thing he does" when I'm not spending time with her, much like World of Warcraft is "that thing she does."

Hello, looks like Lord Fenric and I are the only tropers married to each other; (mind you, Fenric's been more of a lurker lately anyway.) And, as shown by my handle, we do indeed have the Nerdling (he'll be five in February and he already dances to the Doctor Who theme; a sure sign we are raising him right

Man, I'm missing the Spawn right now.
She would be about right for a playmate with the Nerdling, age wise.
She is off in Teversham, England just now. Teversham is some kind of suburb of Cambridge, the city where the colleges are in at which My Lady toils. The Spawn is going to a thoroughly English daycare, which means she will be uptight and stuffy for the rest of her life.
