I usually use guides for Pokemon locations and such easily missed in blind runs (basically things in the Guide Dang It!/Pokemon page)
Get Out of Our Home.I think the lack of roads is less that there are off-screen roads that you don't see, and more that cars are a much less common mode of transportation in the world of Pokemon. The smaller scale compared to our world means that everyone can just walk or bike everywhere with little inconvenience.
I mean cars clearly exist so roads not being shown because the player doesn't use them makes sense.
Just to note that I was indeed talking about gamers and not the game.
But yeah, I'm curious if English speaking kids do actually avoid saying "die" or "kill" since I'd imagine all kids have equally violent language regardless of country
@Black Yakuza: I dunno, I never used that term. I think its because "kill" is also four letters in Finnish so its shortest thing to say

False Swipe Gaming covers Groundon this week. Great from the start, even better after getting a Primal Forme. Variety of roles, power and bulk to back them up, great utility, it had it all. Don't even get me started on VGC performance.
Groudon I first saw on the Ruby/sapphire commericial and I thought he looked cool. But I used to get him and Blaziken confused lol.
I don't like primal groudon though. OP and it's visually offputting.
I lost twice against that veteren couple with the sun team right before battle tree. I actually had to train dewgong back up since it had aqua jet and needed something to take out volcarona. I lost the following battle against blue the 1st time, but replaced dewgong back with cloyster which helped a lot the second time, though its sweep was stopped by aerodactyl who still outsped it even after shell smash <_< Blue's Aerodactyl is FAST.
What examples of Values Dissonance do you see between Pokemon Earth and our Earth?
Maybe how they see eating meat, but not too sure.
Wake me up at your own risk. What about the way we treat animals?

TL;DR: he thought it was better than Colosseum, but not by much.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Picked up Pokemon Pearl after forever and I have no idea what my old Diamond team was. I wish I could remember so I could recreate it.
I just beat Maylene and have Monferno, Roselia, Bibarel as an HM slave, Floatzel, Luxio, and Staraptor. I'm gonna evolve everyone who hasn't yet, but I'm thinking of replacing Bibarel with something, preferably a Psychic Pokemon—does anyone know where to get a Bronzor since Kadabra won't evolve normally? (I wish I'd known Croagunk was Fighting/Poison when i first played Diamond—it was blue and a frog, so I assumed it was Water/Poison.)

The Protomen enhanced my life. You can get bronzor on the biking route between eterna and oreburgh IIRC. You may need cut to access the grassy area though.
Thanks! :)
The Protomen enhanced my life.Nuts, I need a Pokemon to learn Defog. :(
The Protomen enhanced my life.Defog isn't actually mandatory. Sure, fog is annoying, but it doesn't flat-out block you. Also, if you have at least one Pokemon with an Always Accurate Attack like Swift or Feint Attack, the accuracy drop isn't such an issue.
That reminds me of the time I had a Pokemon with Flash in the party at all times in RBY in case a place besides Rock Tunnel was dark. XD
The Protomen enhanced my life.Hail gets flack but it ended up being a Chekovs Gun in my run through battle royale. Turns out if you set hail(or sandstorm I'm assuming) and it K Os a pokemon you'll get the point for it. I stole two kills that way.
I realize that for ice runs two types of things will give you the most trouble: steel types and sun teams.
From the Direct, anyone who bought a Pokeball Plus will still find some use for it in Sw Sh, but not as a controller, just to send Pokemon to so you can carry them around.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Pokéwalker 2.0. Cool.
It also auto spins pokestops in Pokémon GO, so that's a nice convenience.
I forgot to mention that I went through route 225 in Platinum yesterday, and am now in the Survival Area.
Gonna go back along 225 to get some items I missed (since I didn't have my HM slaves with me) and battle maybe one dude I didn't get before.
Then I'm gonna properly check out the Survival Area.
One Strip! One Strip!Huh, I was vaguely thinking about picking up the Pokeball controller, since the bundle is discounted right now. And I could just sell off the game to make most of the money back, even if its kind of a pain.
Maybe I should if the game's actually going to have benefits for having the controller....
But I don't know if its actually worth getting, or if it'll just be a glorified daycare.

Also there’s that one Scenery Porn spot early in Black and White where you cross a bridge over a highway.
There are definitely roads, but you can’t drive and you wouldn’t find Pokémon there anyway, so you don’t see them.
