"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Oh, literally just a few people short of the goal. Wonder if they'll round up the total if nobody comes within a day (unlikely but it's still funny to think about).

I assume they'd do. It's be worst to fail so close.
Well at least this Unicron toy won't fall into oblivion like the other Unicron toys prior to Armada.
And hey, it's much better than that G1 Unicron prototype with ugly colors and a planet torso.

Alright we’re getting a Unicron.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Unicron: Excellent!
I don't know whether to cheer or shake my head at this triumph of crass commercialism.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."You can do the one where you don't shit over people getting a thing they want to have.
Was that not funny? Sorry.

Well you didn't add the .
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Sorry if it was meant to be funny. Been dealing with lots of people of "Stop Having Fun" Guys in the fandom, especially over this.
From what I've seen from some review. The Hasbro stuff's been an upgrade over Bandai USA, though it's a bit of YMMV on the japanese toys. The Hasbro version of the zords are less show accurate, but more poseable and give a more "screen accurate" megazord than the Japanese version. But the individual zords pay a hefty price for that.
I will confess, it was an attempt to find humor in something I was legitimately conflicted about - I don't like the fact that crowdfunds like this are usually more successful than ones that aim to help deal with real-world issues. And yes, that's the Appeal to Worse Problems fallacy, but it's something my mind gets stuck on often. I'll shut up now.

Like to see these toys & how they really look.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Found a proper video to celebrate the sacrificial money appeasement to Unicron.
The guy also mentions the hasbro version has a more involved transformation, that at least for adult collectors, is more fun.

The funny thing for me is that a lot of the things I enjoyed most as a child are the same things I enjoy as an adult, I was not ignorant of quality or especially susceptible to marketing propaganda. I was very disappointed in a lot of Power Rangers toys due to their low poseability, on a fundamental level I think every child wants to recreate the actual movement and poses of the characters on screen. There was often too much sacrifice in functionality in order to make the toys plug together and the end result was a statue, making the transformation itself the entirety of its play value. As a kid I was disappointed in a lot of Transformers toys for the same reason. I picked up collecting as an adult because the movie toys were so much more complex. The vehicle mode, transformation and robot mode had all equal value, functionally making them three toys in one. Many of them were definitely too advanced for younger kids (my sister constantly bugged me to do the transformation part) but I think Hasbro recognized the Multiple Demographic Appeal they could access because of the movies, and so they have worked to diversify the different sublines to certain markets: currently Cyberverse for younger kids, War for Cybertron, Siege and Studio Series for older kids, Masterpiece for adults with money. And now we got a third party Unicron.
I would have loved to get in on some Masterpiece Power Rangers figures during the Megaforce 20th Anniversary, but what I'd seen if anything appeared dumbed down. I've seen some cool looking Hasbro-designed figures lately, but nothing that really caught my attention like the 2007 Leader Class Optimus Prime.
In this episode of Transformers: Cyberverse - Power of the Spark, "Trials", the Autobots and Decepticons find the Allspark! Meanwhile, Slipstream finds her Seekers.
Oh, forgot to post that Mae Catt has reviewed "Dark Birth".

"Scooby Dooby Doo!"I wonder how big the crowdfund would need to have been to make this◊ version?
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."The real question would be... who wants that Unicron to begin with? It's too over-the-top with spikes jutting out everywhere. I mean, everywhere you look at him, there are spikes. And it's quite clear that the artist who designed him had no intention of making Unicron as a workable transforming toy. After all, he goes from planet to robot permanently in the IDW comics.
You could prolly make a non-transforming model out of that.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Transformers costumes for kids
Where there's life, there's hope.Anyone here reading the IDW reboot of the comics? I dropped it in issue 2 but I'm wondering if it's picked up.
