So last semester, the school had a really nice female English teacher that was super into anime and video games, she was super friendly with all the student, and she ran the school's anime club, which I haven't been part of for a while. Then, this semester, the teacher just up and vanished, and almost nobody had any idea what happened to her. It was brought up to me today, during lunch while I was complaining about the new English teacher who's super strict, that I found out what happened to my old English teacher.
Basically, he got word from people in the anime club that she was in an affair with a student, and the reason she disappeared is because the school found out about it and she got her teaching license revoked.
