I think he has criticised it before.
That and Free-Range Children being taken to an extreme.
State of the Wall time. Here's the recap:
- February will see reviews of Youngblood #0, and Kickers Inc., as well as Patreon reviews for a Tomb Raider comic and Little Victory.
- March will have reviews of Savage Dragon, another 3D California Raisins comic, and Patreon reviews of the Darkwing Duck comic and Hellstar Remina.
- The next History of Power Rangers on Power Rangers Ninja Steel is due to be released on May 24. He's still trying to reupload the old videos to Youtube to make them ContentID friendly, but it's a large undertaking.
- He's planning on doing a Legend of Zelda game for his livestream after he wraps up his randomized Nuzlocke for Pokémon White.
- There will most likely not be a Midsummer's Nightmare this year.
- He's working on a secret project, although he's keeping tightlipped about what it is right now.

Kickers Inc. huh, so he's finally tackling the New Universe. Looking forward to the Savage Dragon (Always thought that was one of the better Image books from that period, though I've heard not-so-nice things about the later series) and Darkwing Duck reviews as well.

That reminds me, there's a miniseries of Youngblood that's apparently legitimately good. Lewis needs to review it some day.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Seriously? His first foray into Disney comics is Darkwing Duck? Not Paperinik, or The Life and Times of Scrooge Mc Duck?
I'm gonna have to give my own money if I want that stuff reviewed, aren't I?
DC characters age. T Hey undergo character growth, they change identities, they move on in life, they have kids. Meanwhile, Ash is still in the exact same place he was over 20 years ago.

Lewis is American and those comics are more popular outside of the US. Plus Darkwing Duck is probably more familiar to him.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Yeah it is weird people have a thing about Pokemon characters not aging then accepting stuff from their cartoons running for two decades without changing.
Partly because basically everyone other Anime that's been brought to the west and run even close to that long has characters grow older and chance over time.
It also helps that Pokemon actually has an overarching narrative to it whereas nearly every cartoon that has 100% static characters doesn't.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Shake-Master: Yes, characters change, but they're still the same age they were in 1939.
That's what makes it strange. The characters in DC stay the same age but there's an ongoing narrative with dense continuity, much like Pokémon. (OK, Pokémon's continuity isn't dense, but you get the idea).
Ukrainian Red CrossPretty sure many "status quo" anime were brought around too in US.
BATMAN: I've had two wards, one Tagalong Kid, and a Goddamned son and I'm somehow just pushing forty at best. Space is warped and time is fucking bendable.

Dragon Ball now focusing on a middle aged man and his middle aged friends is an anomaly, not the norm. It was a big deal when Digimon Tri came out and aged up the digidestined.
Naruto also aged up its characters
Where there's life, there's hope.In this week's Patreon review, Linkara takes a look at Tomb Raider: Queen of Serpents.

Anybody remember when he first made the Ancient Egypt joke?
Ukrainian Red CrossBlue Beetle Retrospective.
Where there's life, there's hope.EDIT: Got . But yeah, the Ancient Egypt joke dates all the way back to 2009.
IIRC, that was also the first episode to feature 90's Kid.

What is it with Ancient Egypt being the source of all kinds of bad stuff in media?
Africa, non-white people, non-christian faith, mummies.
Where there's life, there's hope.Eh. Egypt managed to become a cultural fascination at least twice (Napolean's exploits and the discovery of Tut's tomb) in the west. Such events usually have a lasting effect on the zeitgeist. In this case, it always held the air of "mystery" and "otherness".

x3 - Mummies. Not to mention super advanced non-European civilizations always look weird in movies.
Ah, Tomb Raider. I have a soft spot for the first two games in the rebooted series, but I literally got them free with Xbox Live Gold. Maybe that’s why. Waiting for the third one to be free as well.

Characters not aging much in comics is something you just have to accept. Other media has less leeway.
