This is the thread we use to talk things over with people who have received a suspension notice. A lot of the time the notice goes out just so we can explain how seriously we take certain things, not because we want the person to feel bad and go away.
If you're suspended, give What to Do If You Are Suspended a read, then post here to begin your appeal. We try to respond to appeals in order via batch posts every few days. If a moderator has responded to your appeal, you will receive a notification in your private messages, even if you're suspended from PMs.

Don'ts
- Don't be rude. Rule 1 applies here, too.
- Don't try to negotiate your suspension outside of this thread, such as by sending Private Messages to moderators or posting elsewhere. Such activity may be thumped or otherwise removed, and may warrant an additional suspension block if it keeps happening. All communications have to take place within this thread.
- Don't respond to other suspended users. This is a place for you to discuss your suspension, not others'.
- Don't post multiple times about your appeal if it hasn't been a few days since your last reply from us, since it makes it more difficult to compose responses. If you've posted, we're likely looking at it, and kindly request you to be more patient.
- Don't make another account to try and get around your suspension. This is called ban evasion and will get you bounced. (Again, read What to Do If You Are Suspended if you don't know what these words mean.)

IM Boring: You attempted to give the description for Cartoon Network an overhaul and got into an Edit War when people told you to stop doing it. You did this repeatedly throughout October and November, thinking your own brand of the description is the "correct" one. Attempting to use the wiki for your personal agenda is absolutely not allowed.

I honestly don't know why I was suspended. I've been adding edits for two years and I've never borken any of the rules. But I add some entries to the "Legend of Korra" YMMV page and someone's been erasing my Mako-related edits (and ignoring the Tenzin and Korra-related ones) insisting about how his being a "Creator's Pet" doesn't fit him (even though his entry wasn't "Creator's Pet" but "The Wesley"). That's why it's in the "Your Mileage May VARY" page. Is the page not accepting examples of anti-Mako viewpoints even from someone looking at the fandom in a subjective manner?

You were suspended because you added walls of Conversation On The Main Page and when someone removed them, you proceeded to Edit War over it. "Subjectives" does not mean they can turn into conversation and Thread Mode.
Furthermore, The Wesley does not exist anymore. It is a redirect to Creator's Pet and has strict criteria. The discussion page for YMMV.The Legend Of Korra has a whole item discussing why Mako does not fit the requirements. The troper who undid your edits pointed you there. You ignored him. Ignoring the discussion page to Edit War over an item is violation of wiki rules.

@King Nerd: I see no posts by you in the Get Help With English Here thread. I see no reason to restore your editing if you're going to ignore the conditions under which it could be restored.
I said I hadn't realized there were hard and fast definitions as to what went in a YMMV category and what didn't. I also said I wouldn't do that again, so citing that as a reason not to unban me is simply bizarre.
As for Single-Issue Wonk, frankly, that's nonsense. I've troped dozens of articles, about topics as diverse as medieval law, existentialism, which Japanese pronouns are used in Zen discourse, and firearms. The fact that Firefly is contentious is just as much its (Justifying Edit-happy) fans' fault as mine, though I admit—for the third time—that I've certainly gone overboard a few times. I've also promised not to do that, either.
So. I'll be polite and moderated in expressing my views, and observe the proper delineations as to what is or isn't a subjective trope. Do you want to accept that, or do you wish to change or silence my views? That's the real issue.

I only have one account, This is the only one I use. We are more than one on this computer, maybe that's the reason? Beside who gives the right to Zap Tech to delete all the posts that does not fit into his opinion, even going so far as erasing entire folders. I already stopped editing mass effect, since there is no reasoning with that guy, now I need to edit the page about the physicist Brian Cox. That's why I need to be able to edit.

On April 12th, I gave a wiki ban to somebody called 136th for edit-warring over Mass Effect.
A few weeks later, a troper named WS555 was edit banned for edit-warring over Mass Effect and taking jabs at Zaptech.
You come here now, having edit-warred with Zaptech (who deleted a rant, not a headscratcher) and bugging him over PM. The first account banned has a handle too similar to yours. All three accounts are edit-banned because of kerfuffles over Mass Effect and Zaptech.
That is exactly what WS 555 gave us his edit reason when edit-warring over Mass Effect.
You expect us to think this a coincidence?

136th is a profile shared by me and my sister, we use the same computer.
The136th is the profile I made for myself, I wanted to edit some more depopulated pages, and add some pages about anthropology on useful notes.

1. Those who engage in Edit Wars are suspended so they can be told why that's not allowed and given a chance to correct that behavior. It doesn't matter what the war is about.
2. The YMMV section of this site is not there so that everybody with any opinion on any subject can get a forum to orate. We are here to document things, not act as a platform for fandoms to rage at each other.
3. If you feel that an argument over a video game is worth quitting over, then rest assured that we are not going to miss you. If you can't follow the rules, then we don't give a crap what you've contributed.
