... I am never doing that.
Sakamoto demands an explanation for this shit. While cesium doesn't cause an explosion, Francium at least causes anything near it to get sick from radiation poisoning.
Also, God Vs Satan on a motorcycle with an assault rifle.
If that's not Metal, I don't know what is.
Also, 'divingbell' is an actual bell. :P

Shush. I'm busy drawing Shoggoth, a miniskirt, a giraffe, Vampire Hunter D, an egg-beater, a nun, a rolling pin, and a flamethrower, and seeing what havoc I can cause.
Oh, and catching a butterfly with a lasso is awesome.
An useless name, a forsaken connection. This is insane. My mind is thinking in random words and weird jumping after playing this game for so long.
...you can glue a Large Air Vent to a Cloud.
Do you highlight everything looking for secret messages?Just got it so NECRO'd.
I cheat a lot...
DumboDefine "cheat."
Though, yes, going around parameters is nice. I find Air Vents are good for a lot of puzzles involving tripwires that dump uncomfortable things on you...
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaWell, consider so many ideas I have freeze the (legit) game, I think I'm too imaginative.....but also I do the Fridge-Handcuff cheat.
DumboIf you put certain items into the level creator that vanish upon being dropped, they don't vanish and turn into massive particle-spewers! What a pretty way to break the game. ^^
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaA sequel's coming out in September, for the DS and Wii.
Drawn To Life's sequel was vastly better than the original, so maybe the same will be true here.
YKTTW Salvage ListAt this point they at least have more data about what people will actually try.
Do you highlight everything looking for secret messages? Then again, nothing good ever comes out of making an entire game in one year.

YKTTW Salvage ListSequel? Wow.
Also, how do you summon Frankenstein? I tried Abomination, it didn't work.
I picked it up and am suffering from severe Hype Backlash. I finished most of the first world and am starting to get extremely annoyed with the controls. It seems like the game can't tell the difference between what you want to do and where you want to go.
Easy example: I create a stool next to a cliff so I can climb on top of it to get to the cliff. If I try clicking on the cliff, Maxwell thinks he can't get there, so stands around looking stupid. If I click on the stool, rather than jump on top he jumps up and down on it like a trampoline, knocking it over.
I'm probably giving this one back soon.
Also, Re:quel—if they use the same engine, I think it'd be OK. IIRC, 5th Cell said in a Gamasutra/Game Developer's Monthly interview that they themselves realized that they needed a D-pad based control scheme for Maxwell, but ran out of implementation time. I bet you anything that's the first thing they're doing.
I imagine the sequel being mostly a Mission-Pack Sequel, but with nicer controls, who knows? Could be definative.

"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaSo, my sisters have been enjoying this game since I got home on break.
My oldest sister reports needing a flying animal, but not wanting to go with a pterodactyl (maybe she already used it, maybe she was bored, I dunno). So, looking for inspiration, she happens to see the ornaments on the Christmas tree...

Lo and behold...
Do you highlight everything looking for secret messages?Liger vs. Tigon in the battle of the big cat hybrids!
We Are The Wyrecats Needs Tropes!I really hope they do "Super Einstein" and "Electric Werewolf".
Wow, a year.
Then again, a Mission-Pack Sequel would not be bad. If they improve on the controls, and reuse the objects the original has, it should be pretty good, especially if they can add more items and more interactions.
So, who else actually got fooled by The final action level? Man, I tried for so long to get through that set of spikes. I shrank Maxwell, gave him a miniature shrinking gun and miniature wings, and started shooting spikes to shrink them and get through so that he could take on the behemont/death/etc.
Oh, and by the way, I recently, if I remember correctly, had Maxwell take on Death with Excalibur and won. Then I took Death's Scythe and used it to kill God and Longcat.
In other news, a Knight with Excalibur failed to kill a Dragon, but when I put Excalibur in the hands of the Princess he was trying to defend, and drove her into an Unstoppable Rage with some Earth Magic, she slew the weakened dragon.
I have a message from another time...Well...recently got it, and "Heist!" in metro is kicking my butt uptown and down. Any ideas? I tried an invisibility cloak and cloroform, but the guards wake up too fast, and the camera sees through my invisibility. If I can find a way to get past that camera, I'll be fine, but geeze.
:smug:Yeah, the invisibility cloak is actually pretty much useless, as it makes everything but the cloak itself invisible.
You could spawn a Criminal or something to distract the guard as you sneak up with chloroform? Or you could spawn some sort of nonlethal poison, because humans in this game will eat anything they find.
I have a message from another time...Freeze Ray?

I'm surprised no one's started an open-source clone of it.
