Because Kinkajou told me to.
So yeah, anything about Final Fantasy! I guess this would make a good starting point: Which are your favorite games in the series and why?
My two all-time favorites are tied between Final Fantasy V and Final Fantasy IX. They're both very fun games that don't take themselves too seriously while still being legitimately emotional. On top of that, Zidane is my favorite Final Fantasy lead in the entire series. He's light-hearted, fun, and a generally nice guy to be around. FFV also has the advantage of having one of, if not the best, Job System in an FF game. Both FFV and FFIX make characters customizable while keeping them all unique in their own way. I'm also very fond of Final Fantasy I; it hasn't aged well, but it's classic, and like FFV, I played it tons as a kid.
I assume we'll drift around to various other FF-related discussions as the topic grows, right?

Seymour's mother is his Final Aeon, Anima, yes. But since he isn't using her to fight Sin, he won't die and Yuna can get her Fayth to summon her since she's not stuck inside of Sin.
My numbered FF games were, in order, VII, V, VI, I, II, IV, XII, III, VIII, XIII, IX, X.
Still haven't played XV yet.
Qui odoratus est qui fecit.I can't remember my exact order but my first numbered was VII. Mostly because Europe and by extension the UK, didn't have much of a choice.
At least we got the International version of X on PS 2.
Life is more fun with infinite MP.In order, I believe my experience was: X, X-2, IX, III, IV, XII-2: Revenant Wings, VII, VI, VIII, I, II (Did not complete), V, and XIV.
Never played XII and XIII, but I watched Let's Plays of those games. Never worked up the interest to do the same for XV.
No one can blame you for not liking XV.
VIII > IV > Tactics > VII > IX > X > V > VI > XII > I > III (Dropped) II (Dropped once, Current play) > IV Remake (Stalled)

Growing up, it's like a civil war, don't turn away, it's something you can't ignore...My first mainline game was FFXIII.
My first was X.
I actually got a demo with the official PS 2 magazine in the UK. It had the prologue and instantly hooked me.
I can't remember when I got X-2 and XII but they were my next ones.
I've also completed V, the XIII trilogy and XV. Haven't finished VI, VII or IX yet. I have a full time job and like 30 games to get through.
Life is more fun with infinite MP.X was my first, followed by X-2. I did the GBA versions of I and II somewhere down the line, then the DS version of III, and the GBA version of IV. XII and VII were in there too somewhere but I never finished them. XIII and XIII-2 were next alongside the GBA versions of V and VI, neither of which I finished. I didn't finish XIII-3 either. XIV is easily the one I've played the most, having played it almost daily for two years, though I haven't played anything beyond 4.0; I might come back for 5.0. I own copies of VIII, IX and XV but haven't even started them. XI is the only one I haven't touched at all.

A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they will never sit in.I played VIII first, followed by X, IV, VII, IX, VI, I, V, II, XII, XIII, XIV, XI, III, XV.
This song needs more love.mine was III, revenant wings,XII,XIII,XIII-2,LIGHTNING RETURNS,X,X-2, CRISIS CORE,AND XV
I played some side Final Fantasy games, of course, as well as spin-offs like Bravely Default and Second.
Numbered F Fs...
VIII, VII, IX, V, VI, IV, I, II, X, X-2, XII, XIIRW, XIII, XIII-2, XIII-LR, III, XIV, XV.
XI is the only one I have not played. The only ones I straight up hated were III and XV.

I guess if we're talking about which ones we have and haven't played, I might as well add to that.
As of this year, I've played all the non-online numbered games, although I haven't finished all of them. My top three are IX, VI, and X in that order.
Finished: III, IV (on the GBA, never beat the final boss in the DS version), V, IX, X, XIII, XV.
Plan to finish but haven't yet: VI (got really close in my first time playing, started another playthrough but didn't get around to finishing), VII, XII (Zodiac Age version).
Dropped: I, II, VIII (got most of the way through but decided it wasn't worth it, no longer own the game).
As for spinoffs and sequels, I've played FFTA and A2, X-2, and...that's about it, unless the Theatrhythm games count. Didn't like XIII enough to play the sequels. I considered playing After Years at one point, but apparently it's not that great. Will probably try Revenant Wings once I'm done with XII. I own the mobile version of the Tactics remake but barely got around to playing it, and at this point, I would much rather play a version that doesn't involve touch controls. I forget if it's on Steam, but if it is, I'll probably play it that way.
I'd also like to try XIV at some point, but for now, MMO subscription fees aren't where I want to put my money.

I know I asked this question before, but does anyone here want to see another M-rated Final Fantasy?
I wouldn’t say I want to, but I wouldn’t object to it. It’s more important to have a good game.
Of course.
Type 0 didn't even need to be M. Everything M related about it is shock value.
Yoshida and Matsuno already tell mature stories with a T rated framework just fine, and their overlords aren't going to let them get too much more adventurous than they already are regardless of the age rating on the box.
Final Fantasy has been PEGI 16 since XII. You have to have some really raunchy or gruesome content to bag an 18 rating.
Life is more fun with infinite MP.I mean VII's remake's rating depends on what they do with Tifa. and with Velvet Crowe she's gonna have...slightly less stiff-than-normal competition?
And it also depends on if the remake ever bloody comes out.
Zestiria and Berseria are PEGI 16, too.
Life is more fun with infinite MP.Why does everyone assume Tifa is gonna be the issue?
Not the crazed lovecraftian body horror of Jenova 'Who actually does Appear Topless'
Multiple graphic massacres
The sheer number of mind rapes
Don Corneo
No No
Tifa and her Bazooka tits are gonna the problem here...
If Lulu wasn't a problem, Tifa isn't Hell They'll just make her more overtly Japanese
We have Tifa in Kingdom Hearts already.
Life is more fun with infinite MP.
It was actually my first FF game. Had a lot of fun with it.
...My first numbered game was the GBA version of IV a few years later.
