Because Kinkajou told me to.
So yeah, anything about Final Fantasy! I guess this would make a good starting point: Which are your favorite games in the series and why?
My two all-time favorites are tied between Final Fantasy V and Final Fantasy IX. They're both very fun games that don't take themselves too seriously while still being legitimately emotional. On top of that, Zidane is my favorite Final Fantasy lead in the entire series. He's light-hearted, fun, and a generally nice guy to be around. FFV also has the advantage of having one of, if not the best, Job System in an FF game. Both FFV and FFIX make characters customizable while keeping them all unique in their own way. I'm also very fond of Final Fantasy I; it hasn't aged well, but it's classic, and like FFV, I played it tons as a kid.
I assume we'll drift around to various other FF-related discussions as the topic grows, right?

I didn't have any issues with it but, at that point, I had completed every sidequest in the game and had a complete set of Master Materia (with I think a spare one or two) so... yeah.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I never discovered how you could gain enemy attacksm, you needed a certain materia for it
New theme music also a boxOne of the things I love about FF 7 is how, in the end, Sephirot never cared for Cloud except for using him as a Black Materia delivery boy, and how Cloud more or less lets go of his personal revenge quest after he's done character developing.
In the end, it it wasn't for his strength that made him a danger for the whole world, Sephirot would be just another mindbroken soldier like Cloud. The difference is that Could manages to put himself back together.
With Tifa's help. That's what separated Cloud and Sephiroth. Cloud had friends. Sephiroth didn't. Or, at least, any friends he owuld have let him help him cope. He did enjoy spending time with Angeal, Zack, and Self-Insert OC, but one was an enemy antagonizing him, one was dead, and the other was voiced by Rick Gomez.
Qui odoratus est qui fecit.Speaking of Genesis, where the hell was he during the main game?
Costa del Sol.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Jenova Absolute is a cool song and I will hear no slander against it.

Wherever it was, he'll hopefully stay there in the remake.
I still personally think that Jenova was a corrupted goddess of an alien planet. I like to think in her non-corrupted form she would be like Minerva but keep the blue skin and white hair.
And Rinoa is the third DLC character for Dissidia NT!

Seeing Final Fantasy 8 represented in Dissidia puts a smile on my face. I had a feeling Rinoa was next but I figured Freya or Paine or somebody else from XII were possible too.

oh and rinoa is coming with her i guess
I'm guessing Angel Wing is her EX Skill?
Edited by asterism on Jul 10th 2018 at 1:23:45 PM
Song of the SirensYeah she cant use Angelo and her EX skills with it on but her attacks all become magic and super powered and she can cancel out of it at any time.
Edited by lycropath on Jul 10th 2018 at 5:34:23 AM
So she's a stance/puppet combination then?
Song of the SirensFrom what it looks like yes. She can launch Angelo as a projectile or melee attack and he will stay in place until you use a special command to have him rush the enemy your locked onto or reposition him by launching him again.
Her alt is the dress from the SeeD prom, makes sense.
Song of the SirensGod, she's even prettier than the CG from Final Fantasy VIII.

Growing up, it's like a civil war, don't turn away, it's something you can't ignore...IDK, she hits Uncanny Valley for me. It's not the first time with this Dissidia either, some of the characters just look off. From DLC characters, Locke before her also looks weird to me (but his alt is OK), though Vayne is just fine.
Its her nose, her old one was a bit less generically pretty in shape, her eyelashes are less pronounced and distinct (And her eyes wider) and her eyebrows thinner.

Is that the entire party in VIII with a voice now?
Song of the SirensYeah, that main player party all have an assigned Japanese voice actor now. I think only Kiros, Ward and non-possessed Edea are short a voice out of all the player characters.
When I played the game onthe playstation I could never get passed the bit with the floating rocks,I kept dying!
