Needs Help: Australian Culture

The problem is simple: Australian Culture is the odd one out in the newly-christened Works By Nationality, where all the other countries were marked with "(nationality) Media". The quick and easy solution will be to rename it to Australian Media to be in line with the rest. There was a TLP draft asking to achieve just that, but although it was assured by mods that the TRS step can be bypassed through that manner, there wasn't a definitive answer on a question mods are addressing before the move can be made. For lack of a solution, TRS may be a necessary step for this after all.

I suppose one issue is related to there being a Australian Media useful notes, so I suppose a change to that may be needed.

Australian Culture can easily be pasted into Australian Media to align with other X Media indexes.

Merge.

I wouldn't merge into the Useful Notes. The others are Main/.

Ah yeah, UsefulNotes.Australian Media could be moved to Main.Australian Media

I'd actually look at the UsefulNotes.Australian Media page before jumping to conclusions regarding what to do with it. It has somewhat lengthy, somewhat opinionated rundowns of Australia's over-the-air networks that I don't think exist for any other country.

How about keep UsefulNotes.Australian Media for the broadcaster rundown, move Australian Culture to Main.Australian Media for the work index.

UsefulNotes.Australian Media looks like a candidate for the new MediaNotes/ namespace that's supposed to be a thing now.

If we don't want them to share a title (e.g. to reduce confusion), we could rename the Notes page AustralianMassMedia or something

I'm fine with moving Main.Australian Culture to Main.Australian Media and leaving UsefulNotes.Australian Media alone for now, aside from moving it to MediaNotes.Australian Culture once the MediaNotes/ namespace migration starts (which would be a job for the Wiki Talk thread that decided to create that namespace and the Platform/ namespace).

Edit: Well, maybe UsefulNotes.Australian Media could be moved to UsefulNotes.Australian Mass Media (and later MediaNotes.Australian Mass Media once the Wiki Talk thread takes action).

I'm in favor of moving the media examples to Australian Media to maintain consistency with all the pages for media from other countries.

Not quite the required number of days yet, but given the trajectory this is headed, I wonder what can be done about the TLP draft, like can it be discarded and/or linked to the new destination's discussion page?

If there's anything on the draft worth transplanting to the page we already have (after we move it from Main.Australian Culture to Main.Australian Media), we can just manually copy and paste it and discard the draft. We can still put a note on the discussion page saying text was transplanted from there if we do that.
