Not Thriving: Business As Unusual

According to the description, this trope refers to the plot where a group of characters try (and likely fail) to run a business that they're blatantly unqualified to run. Seems like there's a trope there. The problem is the lack of use. Since its launch in August of 2010, it has managed to collect a grand total of 15 wicks (mostly in the "see also" section of trope descriptions) and 10 on-page examples. A trope page with fewer examples than years on the wiki obviously isn't ideal. Again though, I think there is actually a trope here. It probably needs a new name and a trip back through TLP to gather examples (I'd be willing to sponsor it).

Oh hey, this is open. Yeah, I'd still be willing to sponsor this if we send it back to TLP (although admittedly I haven't sponsored anything since it was called YKTTW).

Yeah, that draft would've never launched looking like that under the current regime. Send it back for another round.

Well, the fact that there's already a draft makes sending it back to TLP without having to make a new draft possible, though the unlaunch button might be kind of buried due to how many launches have occurred since then.

I'd say we could copy the current description and example lists into the draft and put it Up for Grabs if we do that.

Doesn't need to be Up for Grabs since CNG, the thread OP, said he's willing to venture into TLP to sponsor it.

Ah, my mistake. Well, I was mainly getting at the fact that we'd have to let TLP know the sponsor would be different this time and overlooked the fact that someone already volunteered to handle that part.

In half a day, this hits three days of being open. At that point, would this be closed in favor of a TLP draft?

Just copied the page source. I'm working on getting the TLP set up under the working title "Under Strange Management" (a title that can obviously change in the future). Feel free to cut the page. I already have everything I need from it (and I already know there's nothing to salvage from the wicks).
