We could have an image of a noble figure that uses darkness for good. Perhaps a knight surrounded by darkness standing in a pose that is meant to show they mean no harm?
So like the current image on Dark Is Not Evil?
Yeah but it is has to be shown that the figure does use darkness as a power. Such as this.
It's an image of the Knight from Hollow Knight.
This can be found on their press kit.

That doesn't strike me as "good".
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.Got any better ideas? Every other dark character I know is a lot more menacing.
I'd prefer we keep until better image suggested. Aside from the fact that I really like this image (hey, it's pretty!), it depicts night (i.e. darkness) as being an awe-inspiring phenomenon of the natural world, instead of something to be inherently feared. Nature can be beautiful and it can also be dangerous, but it is neither good nor evil. To me, that illustrates the trope's idea (darkness is just as "pure" as light) without falling into other similar tropes like Dark Is Not Evil or Casting a Shadow.
The only major problem with this image is the lack of source, which could potentially lead to permission issues.

A weak Keep Until Better Image Suggested to me. I agree with that it's pretty and that it's somewhat related to the trope, but it's still weak. I wouldn't pull it without replacement, but I'd prefer something that shows the difference between this trope and Dark Is Not Evil.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.Okay, I'll go with that for now until I find another image similar to the one I already showed, but more "good" feeling.
I'm going for a pull, myself.
I'd like to apologize for all this.I guess pull for now. I'll bring this back when I find a better image.
Pull means delete this thread, right? Not pull the image.

"Pull" means pull the image.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.Okay. The image is still good though, but as previously said by others, it's weak. I got an image idea:
Still haven't made th background transparent but how do you think about the Kingsmould? If the darkness is not clear from an outside perspective, is fanart allowed?(with permission of course). Maybe I could just make my own drawing to use as the page image.

I think the current image is fine.
Edit: Actually I don't; while I like the concept, it lacks a source and I doubt we have permission to use it. Pull.

So does the majority say to pull the image?
It looks good and could work but some people might misinterpret it as moon magic. Is there any other art of the twilight cleric but where the magic looks more dark?

The ancestral plane from Black Panther
Ourania from Achaea20.2 could work
for 20.2
20.2 is the best so far.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.(Annoyed grunt)
Crown Description:
The image is just a tree in the center with the sky being lit up by stars at night. The trope does not mean the darkness that is caused by the absence of visible light AKA darkness in Real Life.
