As someone not familiar eith the movie, I'd say it has as much context as the current, and "in Death" isn't clear. A shot of someone actually drowning or falling would work.
e: sheesh, can't call myself out when needed.

TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupBy "uncultured" you mean you never saw the movie?
Not sure if these are improvements, but...
1.
2.
Just admit that you didn't watch the movie instead of saying that you're "uncultured". It's unnecessary, really.
I prefer the first suggestion since it shows a bit of context and doesn't show spoilers and that they are Together in Death.

“What is that? It's The Unknown!”A lot of the death scenes either don't show the water, show the water too fast, or require you to put two and two together that the presence of the water means imminent drowning (as in the OP).
Maybe the OP can work with a caption that points out the water pouring in, like "Til flooding from a capsizing ship do us part"?
I think the OP could work with the right caption.
Also found this collage:
Read "Ghost Stories of Remnant" here.Best suggestion so far, though we might be able to cut at least one of the panels.

I'd like to apologize for all this.A bit spoiler-ish but the 6 is good.
“What is that? It's The Unknown!”It is basically It Was His Sled though, so 6 is probably fine. A bit dark though.
I actually prefer OP, however. You can see the water rushing in and get a feel of disaster, and looking at their faces, they're certainly not happy as they hold onto each other. Plus, old people in danger is evocative of tragedy. It's more concise to me than the "I'll never let go" scene.

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.^Pretty much my rationale yeah.
Crowner's hooked.
Votes bump, two in green.
This is day 4 and OP is the only one in the green, so it's called, in, and tagged. Caption?
Old pic:
"'Going down with the ship' isn't just for heroics."
"Around 1500 people died on the Titanic. Here are two of them." I think this caption mirrors how the movie starts off clinically talking about the sinking and then showing the true emotional power behind it.

It's been 3000 years…No consensus, closing.
Crown Description:
Being brought up in the MICT made me remember I've been wanting to replace this. Current bookends a horrifically sad death montage but that's not obvious out of context. How about the old couple Together in Death as the floodwaters start coming in?
