So, the TRS actions for Crazy Awesome have been done, and all that needs to be done is just moving the wicks to their proper locations. It was recommended that a project thread be made for it, so... here it is!

Most wicks can be moved to either SugarWiki.Awesome Moments, Success Through Insanity, or Crazy Is Cool without too much discussion. Any wicks that you're unsure of can be brought up in this thread.

I'm working on the Main/ wicks right now, but there are over 4,000 wicks, and it appears that I'm the only troper doing anything. I can't clean all of them myself, so any help would be very needed!

Well, I'll add this one to my regular rotation. Don't expect a huge amount, but I'll be picking at it. First question:

YMMV.Zukahnaut: Hrothgar is completely unhinged and a danger to everyone around him, but strangely endearing as a result (especially his attempts to bond with Zukah). Zukah himself also demonstrates these traits.

Is this the troper's opinion, or is this happening in universe? Especially the last sentence?

I'll also try and jump in, though not tonight since I'm tired.

I've chipped away at a few wicks. Not much, but every bit counts, right?

I'm busy with other efforts, but if I find any wicks, I can do them.

Meanwhile, took care of a ghost wick.

We're now below 700, go team!

Anyway, this one's really, really, really problematic. From The Lord of the Rings.

  • Crazy Awesome: Viggo Mortensen. When Lurtz throws Aragorn's dagger back at him during their duel in Fellowship? An actual and very sharp knife actually (and accidentally) thrown at his face, actually blocked by Mortensen, not actually scripted. Sean Bean would climb in costume to shooting sites rather than take a helicopter due to a fear of flying. Mortensen did it because he wanted to be authentically travel-worn. When Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli find the pyre where Merry and Pippin ostensibly died, Aragorn kicks a helmet and bellows in despair, which was actually Mortensen breaking two of his toes kicking the helmet and finishing the take before calling for a medic. During the filming of Helm's Deep, he caught a sword in the face, and broke a tooth. He wanted to Superglue the tooth back and keep filming, but Peter Jackson brought him to his dentist to fix it instead. All of the other actors were afraid he was going to end up killing himself before they finished filming, due to his insistence on performing lots of extremely dangerous stunts himself. Even the stuntmen were impressed by his dedication, and ability to ignore pain and injuries while filming. — NONE of these describes "Crazy" or "Awesome" in any way. In either case, these are either Enforced Method Acting, Doing It for the Art, Fatal Method Acting and various real-life Trivia items ... cut the whole line?

Just cut it. The only trope those might fit is Doing It for the Art, and even then not all of them.
