I like the Nightmare Fuel one, but I'm not sure it needs all three panels; the middle and/or the bottom ones might be enough.
Not sure about the Heartwarming ones, I guess they are okay.

First Heartwarming pic works fine. The Nightmare Fuel pic only needs the last panel, and the second Heartwarming pic could definitely stand to be cropped- there’s way too much empty space surrounding Shrek and Fiona.

And the Heartwarming image also has he crowd and their friends cheering him on.

We don't need suspense when it comes to page pics, we just need conciseness. The image on Funny.Shrek 2 has multiple panels because that's needed for the joke.
Also, you can't really tell what the other characters in the second Heartwarming image are doing, so whenever they're in the image or not doesn't matter.

(it didn't go on the suggestions crowner because the page already had a thread), and people said the same thing about the conciseness.

Sorry I've been away. Any progress?
The consensus seems to be that the suggestion for NightmareFuel.Shrek Forever After should be limited to the last panel ("building suspense" is not necessary for a still image), and Heartwarming.Shrek Forever After should have a tighter crop so that the image can be a little taller, therefore more clear to see (cropped either to just Shrek and his family, or include Queen Lilian and the presents but not the supporting characters that are in the shadow).
If you want to, go ahead. I don't care at this point.

Anyone feels like grabbing this and doing the cropping? I am concerned that the pics are too low-resolution to use them as basis for the crops, so if anyone has a copy of Shrek Forever After, that'd help.
