Duplicate Image: Belly Dancer

The picture is the same as Rouge's character image on Characters.Power Stone. As belly dancers often appear in media as a form of fanservice, this shouldn't be too hard to replace. A few suggestions following a quick search:

• 1.1◊: Little Egypt, the Trope Codifier
• 1.2◊ from Chuck
• 1.3◊ from From Russia with Love
• 1.4◊ from The Simpsons

The thing to keep in mind that the picture should show the character dancing, otherwise she can be mistaken for a Bedlah Babe. Also, preferably we shouldn't pick a Dance Battler.

The suggestions are okay but at the same time I'm really not feeling them.

From what I can tell, duplication on a character page is okay, and I'm also not feeling the suggestions.

As far as I know, we're trying to avoid duplicate images even on Character pages.

Another option is to keep the current on Belly Dancer, and replace Rouge's character image with a different official art◊.

Some arts from dA: 1 (it's watermarked, so the artist would need to provide one without that and there's no guarantee of permission for that), 2, 3, 4, 5, 6

That’s good. I like the current anyway. The Simpsons suggestion is also a duplicate from the character page.

I'd avoid dA images if possible as trying to get permission is a hassle, but I can support the character page change to 4.

I agree that DeviantArt images are not the best choice because getting rights for them is problematic; plus it's just better to use an image from a work.

If no better suggestions come up, we can just swap the image on Characters.Power Stone and close the thread.

True, but I think they're better illustrations all around, and I haven't found another example from what's been suggested that I like better. Also, I'mma be honest, the Boobs-and-Butt Pose in the current is giving me an eye twitch.

Yeah, I think we've got enough consensus for the change on the character page. It's done and tagged; locking up.
