TBH, that's a tricky one, and I stopped being invested in the Cat-Bat romance thanks to Tom King whose work I otherwise enjoy.
But If I had to say, I'd think Selina would go through a lot of conflicting emotions. Disgust and disbelief that Batman is actually the same kind of rich white dude she loathes, but genuine appreciation that a guy like him does care about the city and I think she would at least remain positive about Bats as a whole but have a newfound distrust for what thinks he actually is underneath.
He needs to prove to her that his Bruce Wayne side is committed to improving Gotham for any romance to be believable IMO.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Selina: “…if you want me to stay then pay my rent.”
Bruce Wayne: Pay your rent? I could buy you the whole building.
Funnily enough, their Earth 2 incarnations got together on the premise that since Catwoman was marrying a rich man, there's no reason for her to steal and retired from crime IIRC.

Plot twist. He shows up in the end to arrest Penguin.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."....you are now imagining the main theme for The Batman, only made up entirely of this:

Deadline has reported that a solo Clayface Elseworlds film is being pitched by Mike Flanagan. Conversely, while wondering if this would cause conflicts with other project plans, they let it slip that Clayface is also expected to appear in The Batman - Part II (the projects are unrelated).
Word is that Flanagan and his Intrepid Pictures partner Trevor Macy had a meeting with DC Bosses James Gunn and Peter Safran. Flangan, we understand, wasn’t pitching the character to be part of Matt Reeves’ DC elseworld, The Batman 2 set for an Oct. 3, 2025 release date.
That said, other sources are telling us that scripts are constantly changing, and that Clayface is a big addition to Matt Reeves’ The Batman 2. Let’s wait until the dust settles here and something moves forward. It remains to be seen whether Clayface is a connection between The Batman 2 elseworld and Gunn and Safran’s feature and series sprawling DC’s Gods and Monsters – Chapter One.
Clay face would be pretty cool on a movie budget. NGL.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."I’d so be down for a Clayface movie that draws from how Basil Karlo got developed in Rebirth.
Or if they go, like, full horror, they could make it about Preston Payne.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Clancy Brown has been killing it lately. This'll be awesome.
Also, Clayface with Mike Flanagan honestly fits pretty well. I hope there's some kickass Body Horror.

It's been 3000 years…Clayface is loooong overdue to a proper film appearance, providing they don't decide to make him a literal master of disguise and drop earth powers
New theme music also a boxThey could do a halfway plot switch and have the Golden Age Clayface (who was just a master of disguise) and have the marketing be just that, but then in the halfway point, Karlo gets mixed into clay stuff (or however he gets his clay powers) and WHAM! We get the proper Monster Clayface!
Would make for a great "wait, what the actual fuck?!?" reaction from the audience.

I'd be fine with a modern adaptation of Golden Age Basil Karlo that goes back to his original masked serial killer incarnation. That sort of thing could easily lead to a giallo-style take on Batman, maybe introducing Renee Montoya as the secondary protagonist who serves as the outsider who stumbles across him.
First trailer for The Penguin releases.
You can only write so much in your forum signature. It's not fair that I want to write a piece of writing yet it will cut me off in the midThis reboot of Gotham looks great.

Speaking of, the spin-off looks intriguing so far. Also I can't wait to see how Cristin Milioti perform well as Sofia Falcone.
“What is that? It's The Unknown!”A bit of column A and a bit of column B.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. On the one hand I still think Pennyworth, Krypton, and Gotham weren't really necessary. On the other hand you really can't make The Penguin heroic and I'm really down for a villain's origin story. Joker was too much In Name Only for me to give it 5 stars. This could really be a great take on The Penguin that isn't divorced from what I like about Gotham as a setting.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).Just be sure to not make the Penguin show too similar to other shows about crime bosses. Make sure to add enough Gotham weirdness. Too bad we might not see tricked out weapon umbrellas, though.
Wake me up at your own risk. That was something I was disappointed with. I wanted to see some cheeky nod to it where he picks up an umbrella and grins, or something like that.

Watching this again right now.
You know, I really have to wonder how this version of Selina would react when she finds out the guy she wrote off as a rich white boy is the same dude she's fallen for due to his devotion to fixing Gotham.
Like, I remember how Dark Knight Trilogy Selina reacted when she realized Batman was Bruce Wayne (it helped that she'd met him out of costume a few times, and perhaps started to realize he was different from the rest of the rich and powerful in Gotham). The fact that she realized that everything she'd done (stealing from Bruce, and selling out Batman) had only helped Bane might have added to that.
But yeah, what do you guys think about this version of Selina learning the truth?
