I'd say a dude covered in locusts is not in a good place...it's a decent Keep Until Better Image Suggested case for me.
That's not really what the trope means though; it's for when the presence of bugs signifies a greater evil of some sort, and this doesn't do that. The dude doesn't even look like he's in a bad place, more than he just looks slightly annoyed.

That's pretty good. I like that he's in focus and not the bees.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.
I will go with that.
(Annoyed grunt)7's pretty good.

Twitter/Instagram: anzasquiddles. Deviantart: anzahanifathallah. The Ben 10 image looks nice enough, but the bees seem to just be too blurry and out-of-focus to work properly, and there's just too few of them in the image. I think an image from Rasputin's musical number in Anastasia would work better, especially as it has bugs literally heralding evil. A high-quality version of [1]◊ would be best, IMO. If there's also an image of the Ben Ten villain but zoomed out to show more bees, that would also work better.

Here is 17 in wikisize.
Either this one or 7 could work. I think 7 might be somewhat better quality.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.IDK, the things in the Anastasia example are just harder for me to see as bugs. I know they are, but either their design or how they're a bit hard to make out...just makes it hard for me to see them as bugs and not just weird worm things.

He looks more 'evil' in the second one, but I still like it less than Ben 10. I agree that it's the art style — they're something small and probably disgusting, but it's not as immediately obvious that they're insects, compared to B10 where I see the 'evil' first and the things that surround him are something yellow, black, and flying — so a bee, wasp, or hornet.

Agreed all around.
That's kind of OK, but both 7 and 20 are better.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.Is that still in spoiler territory?
I see the bugs. Not so much the evil.
