Yeah, this isn't actually showing the trope...it needs one of Harley going back to being Harleen for some reason. Pull regardless of replacement.
What a confusingly named trope...
Anyway, the image doesn't seem to illustrate it well, so pull.

"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."
I'm not sure I see the distinction between Character Check and Forgot Flanders Could Do That. That said, the page image is an easy pull.

Currently mostly inactive. An incremental game I tested: https://galaxy.click/play/176 (Gods of Incremental)This one is gonna be a hard one to illustrate since you'd need at least three shots or so to show the whole thing properly (unless you use lampshading).
I don't usually go for this, but BUPKIS.

What's wrong with having at least three shots?
mwopBecause it might not even be enough to illustrate the trope?
Like, this one needs a lot of context. You need to establish a character's original personality, his Flanderized one, and then the previous personality, but in a way that makes it look like a special circumstance (otherwise it overlaps with Character Rerailment), all while specifying the timeframe.
Honestly the trope name is terrible, I think we may need to take this to TRS as well
While I agree the name is terrible, I do wish everyone would stop immediately jumping on the "TAKE THIS TO TRS" train every time something like this happens- not because I disagree that the title should change, but because of the backlog. I'm a broken record at this point, IK, but we need to slow down on the TRS-thread creation for a bit and focus on the threads that already exist. (Besides, we need a wick check and all that too, so a bad title isn't in and of itself a reason to go to TRS).
Enough derailing, though. BUPKIS
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessOk fair enough I dont mind putting it on a "to do later" list
Btw the name isn't the only issue, the trope itself is confusing as hell too
I guess it's when a character does something they're originally known for ?
I also got nothin for the image so BUPKIS

Definitely pull the current. I can get behind BUPKIS.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.(Annoyed grunt)
We should definitely have a thread in Image Pickin to keep track of pages that should be taken to TRS at some point (i.e. when TRS has less of a backlog than it does now).
And BUPKIS.

Contains 20% less fat than the leading value brand!Actually, I may have found a picture that could work. Maybe the second page of this comic?
https://comicnewbies.com/2017/09/08/harley-quinn-as-doctor-harleen-quinzel/
Specifically her washing off the Harley Quinn make-up and saying "Welcome back Dr. Quinzel."
First, there are copyright issues with using a full page. Second, it wouldn't look good in wikisize. Second, I don't think it's that trope.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.
Trope is about a flanderized character, and the illustration uses Harley Quinn (compared to Harleen Quinzell) as an example of this, but Harleen having turned into Harley is not flanderization, it's... the entire point/backstory of the character.
Don't have an alternative, the trope would be hard to illustrate (maybe with a caption?).
It also is a duplicate of MsFanservice.Live Action Films
