Honestly, if you hadn't provided that explanation, I'd've had no idea how the suggestion was supposed to fit. The current might not be great, but it's better than that.
^ What's wrong with the suggestion?

Original the Signature. Do not steal. The second link is borked; the first is pretty good.
Out of the suggestions, 4 might be the best - especially since it shows that the trope is applicable to non-Jewish stereotypes.
Out of the examples that show Jewish stereotypes, I actually like current better than 5. The character looks more "alien" and also has the stereotypical hat. Maybe a brightened version, or a different shot of the same character would do a better job of putting the beard and the hat into focus?

"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."
4.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.
back lol
4 — it's clear on the "space" and the "ethnic group" and shows that the trope is more flexible than its name.
Actually, on second thought, 4 is more like Space Romans, so it might not work so well here. This trope is about national stereotypes, not simply national traits.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.While I could support changing the image, I won't without good reason. And I fail to see how the current image is not illustrative.

Look at all that shiny stuff ain't they pretty
$0.02 — certainly these stereotypes are widespread and well-known in Europe and America, but as someone who grew up in Asia I found the current rather subtle. Can it be strengthened with a comparison to a caricature?
Would the N'avi from Avatar work? It's a pretty common criticism that the movie is just Dances With Wolves with blue cat people.
To be honest, I never really gotten a clear idea of Jewish stereotypes with the traits you mentioned. I found the current a bit subtle, too.
No. This trope is about ethnic people, which includes native americans. As such, it is potentially more offensive by nature.
Ex: Space Jews, Space Black People, Space Asians...
Space Romans is the one that's about national stereotypes.
Ex: Space Australians, Space Cowboys, Space Egyptians, etc.
Native Americans are NOT a national stereotype, especially because they exist all throughout America, including Canada and Latin America.

Original the Signature. Do not steal. To be honest, when I first opened Space Jews and saw that image my first thought was like "damn, he really is a Space Jew", so I vote to keep the current one.
The current is pretty (stereotypically) Jewish.

Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
I have a suggestion that better illustrates the Space Jews trope. Current doesn't have any obvious indicators that tell the viewer the image character is a Jew, but alien, apart from the caption.
In contrast, here's a simpler illustration featuring a multi-colored group of Yoshis who otherwise don't resemble any real-life races, whose brown-colored member sticks out for being the only one styled after a stereotypical black person, complete with Funny Afro.
