If this is just "Where Are They Now?" Epilogue inverted, then merging does sound like a good idea.

I think it serves a different narrative purpose than "Where Are They Now?" Epilogue (aha moment instead of closure) that is closer to the idea of Once More, with Clarity. It's a rare trope and a poorly developed page. Not sure if salvageable.

Actually, unless I'm missing something here, it looks like How We Got Here already covers the concept covered by Where They Were (possibly to the point of Where They Were being The Same, but More Specific), but the former is significantly healthier.

What should be done with Where They Were?
Someone cutlisted this a few days ago without bringing it to TRS, but there is a case for bringing it here, possibly with a way to salvage it without cutting it.
This trope was launched in 2008, but it only has nine wicks (three of which are on indexes related to the lack of examples), 29 inbounds, and five on-page examples (not all of which have proper context).
This is the first TRS thread I've ever made, so apologies if I missed any details.
