Maybe include two pictures, the first V for Vendetta (either the cover or a panel where he's doing/saying something rebellious) and the second showing its impact? As is, the protest pics don't make it obvious where the mask comes from.

That's a decent idea I guess, although I'm not overly familiar with the V for Vendetta comic to know from where the panel of him saying that comes from.

Yeah, I prefer 1.1 because of the sign being held; which hammers in the "movement" part best.
