Welcome to HGS: Another Side Another Story. It is a roleplay spinoff for the Hunger Games Simulator forum game, akin to both the RP's in the Roleplaying section as well as the ITTs in Forum Games. It tells the story of the Hunger Games in the Arena of Panem, the nominators who sent the tributes, the tributes themselves both in and out of the Arena or even other people relevant to the Games. In addition, it also tells their stories beyond the Arena.
You can jump right in with any character, like your nominator self, your tributes, etc. The structure of this RP will be open-world. Don't worry about not being skilled/experienced enough or being new to RP'ing. Finally, ASAS accepts any skill level or RP style. Other than these, there are some important rules to note, which are:
- No godmodding will be allowed or tolerated here. The offending player will be given punishment depending on the severity.
- Please communicate anything important you plan on another player with the said player first. Don't just execute it without their consent.
- Don't be rude to other players, both out and in-universe. This extends to RP offenses like railroading, guilt-tripping, coercing, or other forms of forcing them.
- This RP is related to the Hunger Games Simulation:Beyond the Possibilities forum game. Thus it will have events based from that game, including the tributes. This means if you want to RP as tributes, please nominate them officially on the thread first, with misses not being counted. This has to be done after an incident with a player who hasn't joined the game itself yet.
- Since this RP is Loose Canon in relation to the main HGS thread, the host's interpretation of events isn't necessarily 100% canon. Every player has the right to deviate from what the host says and go with their own interpretations. If multiple players have their tributes involved in the same event(s), please communicate with each other so that you're on the same page regarding how you see them.
- This RP chronicles the lives of the nominators and their tributes behind the scenes. While dark plots are acceptable, the overall tone of the RP should be light-hearted and comedic. This RP is not a Cosmic Horror Story or action story about defeating evil. It is a Slice of Life comedy with some adventure to it, first and foremost. Our previous RP, Convergence, is not representative of the intended tone, and the grimdark tone of that RP is one of the main reasons it was retooled.
- Nominators and tributes alike can transform into Pokemon whenever they enter a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon World (but they can bypass this with certain items/methods or shapeshifting) or via other means outside it such as a season event, Transformation Trinkets, or shapeshifting. The players are free to choose the Pokéforms that best suit their characters and even give them color schemes outside the standard and Shiny colors, but there is a hard rule for this. If you want your character's Pokéform to be a Legendary, Mythical, or Ultra Beast, please ask the RP mods for approval. Outside the Arena, these Pokéforms are still OP, but we want to give leeway for tributes who theoretically can have them such as deities.

Detective Gamechanger's Base
A sharp-dressed man in a green suit and yellow tie is standing by the entrance of the base. He is of average height and has whitish skin, though still a bit darker. He is Billy, one of the nominators and the organizer of the party.
Indeed, after the nominators' returned and settled their problems, they decide to have fun with a party. Billy also sent invites for all the other nominators out there, as well as basically anyone else, including tributes, non associated parties, interested nominators who haven't participate yet, or even those who just wants to hang out.
The place itself in the base is refurbished for party purposes. Fancy chairs and tables are set everywhere for people to relax, as well as put food and other objects for the latter. There's also various collections showcased, including those belonging to the Detective, like his classic cars. Various themes to the base are set too, including detective noir as GC would have preferred.
Billy is now awaiting for other guests to arrive. He is also ready to give them a pleasant surprise during the party pertaining to his nation.

But the sadistic dragon saw him coming. At the last moment, he turned his head to face Joaquin and fired a powerful Plasma Beam at him.

"Uuuuh... Tok? Is that morning already?" a yawning Alex also asked as Tokage woke him up with July.
"No... But we may have a new mission ahead of us." the Grovyle explained, pointing at Team Cerulean and Shelley.
Aaron groaned as he was wakened up by Darnell calling him and June up.
"Darnell...? Hold on, we are coming." he answered, before gently nuzzling June to wake her up.
"Hey June... Wake up." he whispered to her.
"You're married like me, you know monstrosity can take many forms."
He scratches Power behind the ears.
"C'mon, they're gonna be doing Ocean Season and Magic vs. Science Season for the next themed ones. It ain't worth getting upset over."

(It's too late for Joaquin to be able to dodge and he runs straight into the Plasma Beam. He ends up spiraling to the ground unconscious and visibly injured.)
JOAQUIN!! (Veena cries out as Greta and Sticky rush over to make sure Joaquin is alright.)
(Veena sees red and glares back up at Ridley.) How DARE YOU!!
(She immediately tries to strike at the closest exposed skin on Ridley's body with her freezing blue venom.)

Oh, we might be going on another adventure? (August asks, immediately sitting upright.) Neato! What's going on?
We may be leaving to try to find the remaining alternate versions of Stanford before Dark Stanford can. (Shelley explains.)
Are you sure this is a good idea? (July asks.) What if we run into any of the bad people trying to find them?
(June stirs awake and sits up and stretches, then looking over to Aaron with a sleepy smile.) Mmmmmornin', Aaron.

Justice thanks the mare before joining Stef's family in the search. They look for the yellow colt inside one side of the dome, while Les and Reba search the other side, and Stanford, Eye-Sicle, Sidon, and Tay search around it. Inside the dome is surprisingly dead quiet unlike outside, with seemingly nopony around, and Justice looks around at the playground equipment.
"There should be at least one pony somewhere here who's the seeker..." he tells Stef. "If we follow them, then maybe they can help us catch that colt!"
Underground Bunker
"But that's three repeated themes in a row!" says Power.
"But why aren't you complaining about the Nom Games being held every 50 seasons?" asks Star.
"Touché."
"But don't worry about 'em!" says Moon. "I'm sure 6k1 can think of some tributes for those seasons!"
But speaking of 6k1... how is she doing right now? Power considers calling her, but she and the others are having so much fun, she doesn't want to interrupt it again.

6k1 checks the Wiki, then replies to Platinum:
I'd say that it was George and Kayla who were behind those MGTs last season, but why would they do that? I know that they nominated other MGTs prior to the mandate, but still... But that being said, how come you did not nominate those cats and dogs, yet you nominated all of Brazil in S45, and right now, all the red foxes?
Also, I've been wondering where all those anthro mons came from in general since none of my friends from either Mystery Dungeon World have commented on them, AFAICR. That, and I was going to study them, but I didn't have time for it. In fact, my Vaporeon was scared of that Alolan Vulpix in S193 because to it, it was unusual for it to see a fellow canine Pokémon walk and talk like a human.
She then replies to Haze, I remember your Halloween party at your place! Maybe I can drop by the new gift shop later depending on my schedule, but not right now.
Ally then comes back with the letter from the Weasleys and reminds her that Errol is waiting outside for her to write back to them.
"Just put it there on the table. I'll read it later."

With Ridley holding her, the closest thing Veena bit was the monster's hand.
"AH!! Do you think this is going to work again, you-WHAT??" he first boasted, only to exclaim in shock upon his claw freezing.
"KSH!! You miserable vermin!!" he growled. Ridley breathed fire at his hand (and Veena) to thaw it, though this time, it was less strong than the Plasma Beam he fired at Joaquin to not harm himself, and could not kill her.

"Uh, already? It's a bit early... But I think I'm ready for it! About time we get our payback after what Dark Stanford did to Whispering Pines!" Alex said, yawning before getting up.
"Yes, but July is right. It will be dangerous if Dark Stanford is sending his allies. Perhaps you two and June might need to stay behind." Tokage said to the Zoroark sisters.
"Heh. Go tell that to June." Alex said.
Aaron smiled and quickly kissed June on the nose before getting up and opening the door.
"Hey there, Darnell. What is it?"

But really, I don't know who sent the dogs, cats, or the anthro Pokemon, but it was not me. Hope your Vaporeon is okay, though. Now I'm wondering if the red foxes are disturbed by McFox like your Vaporeon was by one of the anthro Pokes. Hope not. By the way, I never told any of the nominators, but I'm from Brazil myself.

Eh, probably doing fine, I’d guess. (Reba says.) …You know, I’m happy Wanda ended up doing alright for herself and found some new friends after she ran away. She coulda ended up way worse off, don’t you think?
Ah, yes. (Les agrees.) She seemed to be much happier even here outside of her own universe.

(Veena audibly whines in pain from the fire, but attempts to take advantage of Ridley’s distraction to try and jab Ridley in the eye with the end of her tail.)

Pfft, yeah, if I know June, she’s gonna jump at the chance to go on another adventure. Especially with Aaron. (August laughs.)
(This, of course, makes July incredibly nervous, especially considering who they’re dealing with.)

There has been discussion downstairs about searching for more of Stanford’s parallel selves before they are captured by his evil counterpart. (Darnell explains.)

(Dark Stanford is still hard at work trying to locate the remaining Altfords through the Hypnos Stone. He feels he’s so close to completing his mission that he sometimes finds himself trembling. Though then again, he wonders if that’s just his bow tie slipping and threatening to unleash his true form.)
Soon I won’t even have to wear this bowtie anymore…

(sigh) The only "unconventional" tributes I nominated were that Blue Shell and Wild Draw 4 Card for S45, and even with data cloning, I'm STILL not gonna nominate an MGT, EVER (the largest group tribute I've ever nominated was Pinkie Pie and 24 of her Mirror Pool clones, IINM). But okay, I'll go ask one of my mon friends regarding those anthro ones, and I hope I can get to the bottom of who nominated those cats and dogs so I can complete the Database/Wiki.
6k1 promptly texts Aaron, Hey there, it's been a while. How are you and June? Just wanted to ask if either of you or your mon friends caught sight of these weird bipedal, talking canine mons in Seasons 191, 193, 198, 201, 211, and most recently, S269. You know, for Database purposes.
She then gets back to Platinum. Anyway, I moved to Panem from the Philippines in OT S139 for my work, but I've always wondered... when did you decide to move to the Rushing Beat Universe, and why?

Justice swears that he can hear some giggling inside the dome, but he shakes his head.
"If I only had a hearin' aid..." he mutters to himself.
Just then, he spots a lone filly staying low and peeking around the twisty slide. She turns around to his group and shushes them.
"I'm looking for all my cousins here, great-grandpa..." she whispers.
"Is that so, young'un? Then have ya seen a yellow colt around here somewhere?"
"Yes, but I haven't found him yet... why?"
Not wanting to out him in front of the other foals (if he is in here), Justice whispers to the filly, "He was the one who pied all of us earlier."
She snickers. "If you ever find him in here, then be prepared, for he might have another trick up his sleeve!"
"Rarity, are you okay? We gotta get you and your friends outta here soon!"
"They're themes so nice, you see 'em twice, Pow-Pow. C'mon, make that disappointment go extinct."

Before Ridley could resume his vicious attacks on Veena, the rattlesnake hit him in the eye. The monster let out a blood-curdling scream, finally letting her go.
Once he recovered, the dragon furiously stared at the 'Brijes.
"YOU ASKED FOR IT!! I WILL ERASE YOU FROM EXISTENCE!!!" Proteus Ridley screeched, before turning towards Knox, the only one who couldn't fight.
And he couldn't care less.
With a loud roar, Ridley flew toward Knox, attempting to slam him onto the floor.

"Kelby" was sitting around when he noticed Stef and many others around the dome. He waved at them from afar.
Of course, through Stef, Blood Moon knew what was going on.
"Still looking for this insolent foal, I see. I swear, you primitives really are complete novices when it comes to hunting." Blood Moon's voice sarcastically resonated in Stef's head.
"I suppose I could tell you where he is... But I find it amusing to watch you struggling to find a single child."

"What?" Aaron asked. The Lucario certainly got surprised.
"I see... That would be ideal to counter Dark Stanford's plans." Aaron said, thinking. He then glanced at June for a moment.
"Alright. Let's join the others downstairs. They must be waiting for us." the Lucario said, waving at her and her grandfather to follow him.
Before he could, he received a message on his phone from 6k1.
Oh hey! It's been a while. Yeah we're doing as fine as we can. We hope Dark Stanford didn't try anything against you back in Panem. Sadly, I don't think I saw them. I'm not really into the games those days. he answered her before going down.
"Yes, Shelley is right. It's not the first time June went with us on a dangerous mission." Tokage said to July before turning to Aaron, June, and Darnell.
"Oh hey, guys! Hope we didn't interrupt anything!" Alex exclaimed.
"Oh no, we're fine. We were just sleeping together, nothing out of the ordinary." Aaron said. Tokage nodded before recapitulating everything.

"Hey, if you're not comfortable with sending MGTs, that's okay. I won't judge. As for when and why I moved on to the world of Rushing Beat? Well, I think it was 4 EP years ago, and I currently live in it because I found the heroes of this world to be interesting. At first they found me weird, but we eventually became close friends.
By the way... don't know if I should be sharing this kind of information, but you know Reboot S98, where all the clothes in the world were a tribute? So, when Goggles killed that tribute, I temporarily lost mine, too.😳 Good thing I was able to cover myself before my friends saw too much. My clothes instantly reappeared when that season was over, though."

Oh, sure, gimmie one second. (Kay says.)
(She summons two Mini Mushrooms and two Super Mushrooms.)
Now you can use one of the Super Mushrooms after you get down there! (Kay says.) If you don't wanna stay small, anyway.
I did not especially mind being small after a certain point, but thank you. Perhaps taking one of these growing mushrooms down there with me will prove advantageous. (Cleo says.)
(Cleo takes the Mini Mushroom and becomes Mini Cleo again.) Shall we, Wanda? (Cleo asks Wanda in her "mini" voice.)
We shall, bestie! (Wanda says. She picks up Cleo and the spare Mushrooms and they jump back into Belissima.)
(Wanda and Cleo are surprised to see the others not still by the TV.) Huh...where did everybody-...oh no, my parents, they didn't-
I am sure there is a logical reason for why they have left, Wanda. Remain calm and let us see where they went. (Cleo reassures Wanda.)
(They begin looking around.)
(Stef frowns upon hearing Blood Moon's voice in her head again. " Do NOT lay a hand on this poor child. We will find him.")
(The boys giggle.)
Oh yeah? Keep your eyes peeled, everybody. He might surprise us. (Ivan says.)
Tallon IV
(Veena quickly slows her descent by frantically flapping her wings, though she still has a somewhat rough landing.)
(She barely has any time to register what's going on before she sees Ridley swooping down upon Knox, who tries to get away from Ridley but only succeeds in rolling over, ending up flat on his stomach when Ridley lands on him.)
(Knox howls in pain.) GET OFFA ME!! (He reaches out to summon his sword back to himself, but he's too dazed to focus.)
(Colby immediately attempts to leap atop Ridley and pull him off Knox.)
Knox!! (Veena screams, looking between him, Greta and Sticky still trying to wake Joaquin back up, and Fire Eyes still bleeding out. She doesn't know what to do. What she wouldn't give to have access to Stef's duplication potion right now.)
(Sticky sees Knox and Colby having trouble with Ridley and makes Veena's decision for her.) Veena, bring Knox his sword!
(Veena sees Knox's one sword that he was able to summon lying where Joaquin dropped it. She quickly grabs it in her mouth and tries to fly it over to Knox.)

Aww, Syd, I'm sorry he snatched your friend away from you. (June says to Syd.) We're gonna get her back though! I know it!

I'm not sure if we should be bothering them after everything that happened to them on Painted Island today. (Shelley says.) ...Then again, Henry never skips a chance to help someone who might be in trouble.

Power bursts out laughing at Ichi's pun. "And yet, I wasn't bothered when we had three Name's the Same and Villain Seasons each in the OT!"
Star playfully rolls her eyes. "Oh, Pow-Pow..."
"But anyway, let's go deeper into the jungle!" says Spice, pointing to some thick foliage. "Who knows what other dinos are hiding in here?"
"I wouldn't pass through those plants if I were you, dear..."
"Trust me on this, as a chef, I know which of them are poisonous and which are not!"
"But these are prehistoric plants!"

"So can we join ya in findin' him?" Justice asks the filly.
"Sure thing!" she says.
"Arright, lead the way!"
The filly leads the group around their side of the dome, and she spots what seems to be a yellow hoof sticking out from behind a pile of giant blocks.
"I think I found him, great-grandpa!"
On the other side, Les and Reba would stumble upon what seems to be a blue tail wagging under the seesaw. However, the colt that everyone's looking for is sneaking up behind Eye-Sicle's team while casting an invisibility spell on himself and his whoopee cushion at hoof.

It's okay, thanks anyway, 6k1 replies to Aaron, and stay safe!
She then risks texting Scipion about those strange Pokémon, hoping that he didn't notice her AU self among the MGTs last season. But then again, he hates them as much as she does, so he probably didn't bother watching them unless they directly interacted with his tributes.
She then gets back to Platinum. So sometime after you survived the Great Destruction? That explains why Asriel didn't see your friends when he woke up in your house as Flowey after OT S60. Speaking of which, the Dreemurrs offered me to stay with them in the Underground when they adopted me in OT S157, but I declined because I can live on my own in the Library.
Also, don't you mean Reboot S99? I remember that season, but I was in Equestria as a pony when that happened. At the time, my casual clothing disappeared when Twilight took me there while I was unconscious (long story), so I wasn't affected when all those clothes were destroyed. Don't worry, I was fine not "normally" wearing clothes like almost everypony else, and I got them back when I returned to Panem.
But if I didn't get any reports from my other Earth Prime friends that they lost their clothes too upon that "false" MGT's destruction, then this means that you came from an alternate Earth, the same Earth where all those clothes came from. And that makes sense, right?

Proteus Ridley ignored Colby trying to help Knox and raised his claws.
"I WILL GUT YOU ALIVE!!!" the evil dragon roared, preparing to kill Knox before Veena could reach them.
But at the last moment, Ridley saw a spear thrown right toward his face. He used his arm to defend himself.
It was Fire Eyes. The Chozo, still alive despite the ugly wound Ridley inflicted on him, had just managed to get up. Despite this, he was clearly not in a position to fight. He was breathing heavily, had a nasty bleeding hole in his chest, and he was clearly struggling to stand up.
"YOU?!" Ridley shouted in surprise.

"Why so concerned? The original Kelby was rather patient around children. I should be able to replicate that... Assuming this foal is not too irritating." Blood Moon said to Stef.
New Pines
"Oh yeah , don't worry about that!" Alex said to Syd.
Just in the nick of time, Arthur got here.
"Looks like everyone's awake." the Decidueye remarked.
"Hey there, Arthur. How are things going at the inn?" Aaron asked.
"Fine... I'm afraid we're skipping this one, though. James and Nick are still tired after the whole Silas thing, and I guess I can patrol around the town since I'm awake." Arthur said.
"I see. I hope nothing will go wrong while we're gone tonight." Tokage said.
"So we're going to use your com to go Equestria, right? Been a while since we've been there." Alex said to Shelley.
"Oh right. This time, we'll likely be transformed into Equestrians, unlike last time." Aaron said to his team.
"Man, I hope I'll be a dragon." Alex said.

Team Fruit Salad's Pit
With Reboot Season 269 over, Letooce spent her free time working on her robot. She was close to getting it finished, and then maybe she could start participating in competitions for once.
Focused on her work, she didn't notice her friend and robotics teammate, Strawbrey, walking over to her.
"Hey, Letooce?"
"Yeah?" Letooce answered, not looking back at her.
"I data cloned two Jacks for the Name's the Same season."
"I thought you weren't going to nominate anyone without telling me first. Which ones?" Letooce slightly frowned.
"Sorry, had a banger idea and kinda assumed you would like it to begin with. Jack Box and Big Jack Horner. Two sexymen!" Strawbrey chuckled to herself at just how ridiculous that sounded. "Interesting tributes, right?"
Letooce finally looked back at Strawbrey, and her frown faded away to a smile. "Yeah, I guess you're right. Can you still tell me beforehand next time?"
Strawbrey gave a thumbs up, sat next to Letooce, and started helping out on the robot as the two of them waited for the season to start... and for their third teammate to come back.

(Stef knows Blood Moon is capable of replicating Kelby's patience, but she is still extremely wary of letting him near any of the kids, especially the ones who are more rambunctious like this little prankster they're trying to find.)
(It doesn't take long before they find what looks like a hoof poking out of some large blocks.)
Oh, good! (Stef says, walking over and gently moving one of the blocks.) Excuse me, dear-...wait a minute.
Oh, I think I see the child under the seesaw here. (Les says.)
(He peers down under the seesaw.) Hello-...there? (He says, trailing off in confusion upon looking.)
This child seems very adapt at hiding. (Sidon comments.)
Yeah, no kidding! (Eye-Sicle says. He goes over to have a seat.) We're sure we're looking for a yellow pony kid and that goblin Stanford ain't colorblind, right?

FIRE EYES! (Veena cries.)
Fire Eyes, stand back, you're hurt! (Colby shouts.)
Yeah, man, he's gonna kill ya if you come any closer! (Knox adds.)
(Veena doesn't want to give Ridley the chance to finish Fire Eyes, Knox or Colby, though. She takes flight and flies straight toward Ridley with intent to tightly wrap herself around Ridley's chest and neck and put him into the serpent equivalent of a submission hold. But, realizing she is still holding Knox's sword, she instead aims it blade-first toward Ridley with intent to stab him with it. Her expression is full of regret as she flies directly toward Ridley.)

I suppose so... (Shelley says, getting ready to transport all who are going.)
Aw, don't you worry, Alex, you're dragon-y enough that I bet you're gonna be one! (August says. Curious, she turns to June.) What were you when you went there before, June?
Ooh, I was something called a Changeling! I could really shapeshift! (June says.)
Neato! (August says.) I guess the same thing would happen to July and I if we went there.
(July shrugs.) PLEASE be careful. (She tells everyone.) Especially YOU, June. And especially you too, Tokage. I hope you all know what you're doing.

Uh huh... (August says, she looks away from July with a cheeky expression on her face.)
(The group will end up landing just outside Ponyville. As before, June is a Changeling, while Shelley is now a large arthropod-like monster that slightly resembles a Golisopod, Shelley is still a snail-like dragon, and Wes and Millie are now both earth ponies colored like their respective Pokémon species (their cutie marks are a mountain and a badge respectively). Syd's face on Shelley's communicator also more closely resembles that of a typical pony.)

Distracted by Fire Eyes's attack, Ridley didn't have time to realize that Veena got to him. The monster roared in pain as Veena stabbed his chest with Knox's sword, greatly injuring him. The dragon backed down, covering his wound with his claws. The 'Brijes were close to defeat him.
Enraged, Ridley fired another Plasma Beam at Veena.

"Aaaw, thanks!" Alex said to August with a giggle. Tokage got a bit surprised by July's words and just had the time to smile at her before leaving.
In Equestria, Tokage and Alex both became more dragon-like, with Alex having small wings on his back.
"COOL!! Look Tok, I got wings now!!" Alex exclaimed.
"I admit it's not as bad as I first thought." Tokage admitted.
As for Aaron, he was now a blue earth pony with a black mane. His cutie mark was an Aura ball.
"Whoah... So this is what having four legs look like." he muttered, looking at his hooves.
"You're married like me, you know monstrosity can take many forms."

(Veena is so in shock at what she just did that she almost neglects to dodge out of the way of the Plasma Beam. She manages to roll out of the way just in the nick of time, causing her hat to fall off in the process.)
(Joaquin comes to just in time to see Veena launching herself at Ridley with intent to bite him directly on his exposed snout with her freezing venom.)
VEENA!! (Joaquin cries, jumping to his feet.)
Veena! (Greta exclaims as well, just as shocked at what Veena is doing.)

I'nt it neat? (June asks Aaron, Tokage, and Alex.) This whole world's just neat! I should take you t' see Las Pegasus sometime!
Gonna have to wait, darlin', don't forget we need to figure out where this Snowy Owl person is. (Millie says.)
Oh, yeah, of course! (June nods rapidly.) ...So...uh...where do we start? Does anybody know where Snowy Owl lives?
Maybe we should ask around where to find him. (Shelley says.)

The filly knocks down the blocks with Stef's family, only to find that the yellow pony is actually an earth pony filly with a red mane.
"Yay, you found me!"
"Actually, we're looking for somepony else..." says the green one.
"Oh, sorry... but can I join you in looking for them?"
"Sure thing!"
Meanwhile, the blue-maned colt pops out from under the seesaw and flaps his equally blue wings.
"Hehe... are you all part of this hide-and-seek game?" he asks Les and Reba.
Just before Eye-Sicle sits down, the yellow unicorn casts a spell on the whoopee cushion to add some "Easter" eggs inside it, and then slips it on his seat. The colt then hides underneath and watches the ensuing chaos.
"Rarity, are you okay? We gotta get you and your friends outta here soon!"

Waiting for the next season, and sulking after yet another unremarkable one for himself, Scipion noticed 6k1's message.
Database? Uh, yeah sure. You mean those ugly Pokémon knockoffs? Hell do I know who nominated them, that's certainly not me. I got standards. he wrote.
Writing to 6k1 did remind him he saw some rings on her hand. Though just like before with the flag, the Zoroark had no idea that they had special meaning.
Oh and nice rings, BTW. Noticed them on your clone thing. You got them while you were busy?

Proteus Ridley ragefully screamed as Veena bit his snout, his mouth steaming fire as his snout froze. At this point, he was too weakened to even fly.
Soon after, with the monster out of his mind, something strange happened. The Chozo busts and statues of the room glowed red eyes. They focused energy beams at Ridley's chest, forcing him to further back down, towards the pit.
When Fire Eyes said earlier that Chozo statues and artifacts carried the will of his people, he was not speaking completely metaphorically.
Still, even though he was going to be defeated again, Ridley was far too spiteful to go down quietly.
The dragon grabbed Veena and forcefully held her tight. If he had to go down, she would too.
With one last screech, Ridley was sent falling into the hole, holding Veena.
Fire Eyes, unable to do much, could only stare furiously at Ridley being a sore loser. But the Mawkin, despite his grave injury, knew it wasn't over. He threw his spear at Joaquin.
"Take this... Get to... Veena... Ugh... Before it is too late..." he weakly said to him.
Fire Eyes then collapsed again, losing consciousness.
Equestria
"Oh yeah. Las Pegasus is a wonderful place." Aaron said to Shelley and Team Cereluean.
"Good idea. Hopefully, we'll find him quick." Tokage said as the team went towards the town.

Not to be crass, but it sounded very much like Ira after he ate far too many bran cakes at the potluck breakfast we had to celebrate his birthday last year. (Cleo says.) I hope we do not need to fetch a doctor.

(Everyone cries out in horror when Ridley grabs Veena and takes her down with him into the pit as he falls into it.)
VEENA!! (Sticky cries.)
...Spineless cowardly BASTARD!!! (Knox roars, trying in vain to get back up to his feet.)
(Greta simply drops to her knees with an anguished bellow.)
(Joaquin's expression immediately tightens; Ridley is going down...figuratively as well as literally.)
(Fire Eyes has barely even finished speaking before Joaquin grabs the spear from him and rockets down into the pit. He's already nearly lost Veena too many times since this whole mess started and he has no intention of losing her for good, especially at the hands of someone like Ridley.)
(Veena is still frantically trying to wriggle herself loose from Ridley when she sees Joaquin flying down toward them, screaming in sheer anger, and with the spear already pointed directly toward Ridley's face.)

(Given how late in the day it is, Shelley and Shelby are a little worried they might not find someone to be able to point them in the direction of Snowy Owl.)
Like, hey, who spoke to him before? (Wes asks.) Why don't we just call them?
Oh yeah! (June says.) But who did?
Kay is probably a safe bet. (Shelley says, calling the Birdo.)
Oh hey, Bugtrio, what's up? (Kay asks on the other end.)
It's just me right now. Can you tell me and the others where we might find Snowy Owl? We want to help rescue Stanford's parallel selves. (Shelley asks.)
Oh, if I'm not mistaken, he's just outside of Ponyville on a farm. Got a large shed behind it. (Kay says.) Good luck, by the way!
