Roleplay Namespace Cleanup and Maintenance

My attention's been spread over multiple other sites over the Xmas break, and I shan't tell you how my sleeping schedule has fared lest you die of horror So I haven't been able to contribute more than an hour or so a time to tvt. Still invested in this clean-up! Just not had the time lately. Might be coming back soon if things stabilise into January

Roleplay.Danganronpa Heroes Academy was submitted to the cut list with the following reason: "The roleplay was run by a sexual abuser. The place is abandoned. The roleplay was cancelled. There's no link."

Only the last point may have validity for cutting. Has this been researched and determined to be unsalvageable?

There's still a link on the page, but it goes to a roleplay called "Scarlet's Acadamy". Dunno if they're the same thing.

I dunno, if it has been researched, the matter wasn't discussed here.

Who submitted it? Possibly it wasn't someone who's posted on this thread?

Had to clean up Kingdom Hearts The Unsung War Trilogy.

There were a variety of issues I dealt with, including grammar. Also, I had to snip out part of the description that violated Examples Are Not Recent.

What else is there...besides the first person writing?

I'm gonna take one more stab at seeing if ~Spinycemb is willing to come and talk. In addition to the page I already mentioned, they contribute to a lot of RP pages.

Another mod processed the cut for Roleplay.Danganronpa Heroes Academy, but the subpages are now up as well for being orphaned. Giving a ping to ~TamaMahouShoujo to see if they can provide some clarity, seeing as they were the most recent and active editor on YMMV.Danganronpa Heroes Academy.

Sorry for not responding sooner, but i'm bringing up these concerns with the other contributors to the Roleplay pages i've taken part in. Rest assured we're gonna talk about cleaning things up where necessary.

any contentious RP pages i've made or edited a lot can just be moved to darth wiki if there's issues with citation or access to the material, no harm no foul i figure. thanks for bringing this to my attention!

Would it be possible to see if there's anyway to supply a link? If you can't, then yeah, it's doomed for Darth.

nah, not so much - it's chat-based, and my thinking in making a tv tropes page for it was based in when everybody used to make public trope pages for projects like this for the purpose of a group activity and some form of archival/organization of information. i don't mind the idea of it being on darth wiki, though! i think that would actually be a much better fit, and i'm working on that transfer right now.

Just keep in mind: The Unpublished Works namespace doesn't allow subpages, so for example, character-page information would have to be merged with the normal pages.

already done, but thanks for the reminder! ^_^ i recommended all the subpages + the main roleplay page for deletion and just transferred the important stuff to darth wiki.

Cleaned up roleplays:

• The Worst Pantheon: The Worst Pantheon? How about The Worst Formatted Page? All the tropes having curly braces was the start of it.
• The Yonderlands: Moved to Darth Wiki for no longer existing and having no archived pages.
• The ZONE: Considered moving to the custom title, but it appears to be officially titled "The ZONE", so I'm un-custom titling it.

Hi, just popping in cause I happened to spot Blackened Moon on the cleanup sandbox — I was in that RP, so while I'm currently kinda swamped with work and life, I can certainly whip it into shape if I ever get one (1) hour to myself. Having even a tangential connection to a page that looks like that is actually legit embarrassing...

It could be worse... it could be unindexed! But it's great to hear from a participant who can help trope.

All right, having finally gotten a moment to actually check out the page... literally the only tropes there are about the one character played by the page creator. I don't want to say it's unsalvageable, because it technically could be saved, but... 100% Auto-Erotic Troping by a single user. Yikes.
