HGS: Convergence

District 12

"Right now, I'm somewhere in District 12. Figured I'd get outta the bunker and maybe do something until it was time for nominations again."

Ichigo looks around at his surroundings

"I think there's a lake to the west of where I parked my jet."

Power's Home

"'Cause I wanna hang out with you there, just like in my dream! I'll go ask Miranda if it's okay!"

Power deactivates the ball and goes to the living room. She sees her aunt in her attorney outfit, packing her suitcase for court. The artistic unicorn asks her for her permission, explaining to her about the dream.

"Of course you can, Pow-Pow!" answers Miranda. "As long as you're home before dinner. Don't wanna be missing the next season, right?"

Power giggles. "I will."

"And don't forget to pack your crystal ball and Invisibility Cloak. If there's any danger out there like Biteacudas or Cragadiles, call me right away."

"Don't worry, Ich and I can handle this."

Power then sees her aunt off to work, and goes back to her bedroom to tell Ichi about this.

District 12

"Alright. Guess I'll see you here in a bit, ya adorable, nerdy little pony."

Ichigo heads towards the lake located west of where he'd landed his jet.

Power's Home

Power says goodbye and packs her things, including a white book with black pages inside. She also packs some chocolate chip cookies as her snacks, alongside the essentials like sunscreen and towels. She considers wearing her Daring Do outfit, but since there might be not enough time for adventurous activities like jetskiing or kayaking, she decides against it.

Once she's sure she's packed everything she needed, she goes out the door and magicks her crystal ball.

"Hey 6k1! I'm gonna hang out with Ichi by the lake!"

"Really? Where?"

"At District 12! I felt that he needed some cheering up after he missed the nomination period."

"Aww, that's great! Do you want me to send one of my tributes over to liven things up?"

"No need, I just want this to be a personal hangout with him. Don't worry, if anything goes wrong, we can handle this!"

"Alright then, I'll call Perri. Have fun there!"

The portal appears in front of Power, and she steps inside.

District 12, Lake

Power steps out of the portal and greets Ichi by the lakeside.

The Database Library, Basement

6k1 gives Power's decision a benefit of the doubt. While the DM's confident in her, she's still going to send one of her tributes there. Who knows if there's a lake monster hiding in the depths...?

District 12

Greeting the newly arrived Power with a smile, Ichigo reaches down to tousle her mane.

"As always, it's great to see ya again, Pow-Pow."

District 12, Lake

Power gives Ichi a hug, then looks around to make sure no one heard him call her by her nickname.

She takes the time to admire the scenery. The lake's clear waters stretch as far as the eye can see, and conifers of different sizes border it. The Appalachians serve as its backdrop, and the shore is lined with pebbles. There's a small dock up ahead along with a fishing shack, and a low grassy area for picnics.

"So... let's go and relax by the lakeside! Lead the way!"

District 12

Ichigo hugs Power back, lightly chuckling when she checks to see if no one else was around to hear him say her nickname.

"Follow me, then!"

He walks onto the dock, where he takes a seat and looks out across the lake.

"So, this look anything like the lake from your dream last night?"

"Not exactly, it was more of a wetland, with typhae growing all around."

She takes a seat right next to him and gets her sketchpad.

District 12

"Huh. Well, unless something's up with the ecosystem, I don't remember there being any typhae in District 12. But hey, this seems pretty damn close to me."

After taking a moment to admire the general atmosphere of the lakeside, Ichigo glances at Power's sketchpad.

A few minutes later, Power finishes her sketch. She summons two bottles of bubble mix and gives one to Ichi.

"Let's blow our worries away, just like in my dream..."

She dips the wand and blows it gently, watching the bubbles float across the lake.

District 12

Setting his cane down on the dock, Ichigo blows a few bubbles of his own and watches as they float alongside Power's across the water. While he was admittedly tempted to make a remark about the artistic pony's dreams literally coming true, he ultimately decided against it, lest he potentially ruin the peaceful moment. Instead, he merely smiles contentedly.

Power blows a few more bubbles and feels her mind being cleared. A cool breeze ruffles her mane a little.

"This reminds me of that old Derpy fanfic... but much happier."

District 12

"Took the words right outta my mouth, Power."

Ichigo blows a couple more bubbles, his annoyance at missing the latest nomination period just fading from his mind altogether. While he hadn't initially planned on being joined by Power as he cleared his head, he sure as hell didn't mind it in the slightest.

"Speaking of fanfics... I brought my favorite with me."

She keeps her bubble mix and shows him the book. The cover has a white silhouette of a pony with the title White Box surrounding him.

District 12

Ichigo studies the book.

"Hmm... Y'know, I don't think I've ever read or even heard of this one before."

Power opens the book. The text is white against the black pages.

"I like this one because of the way it's formatted."

She explains to Ichi the plot, which is about a pony named Canvas imprisoned inside the eponymous white box, and flips the book to the part where Twilight introduced him to the color purple. Every mention of or reference to the color was written in said hue.

"This was written long before Twilight ascended, hence her lack of wings."

District 12

Ichigo listens intently as Power explains the fic's plot, reading the book along with her.

"Hoo boy... I've read a whole lotta fics in my time, Pow-Pow, but I can't say I've ever read one this unique before. Whoever wrote this is really friggin' creative, that's for sure."

Power continues reading, with the words having more colors as Canvas is introduced to more of them. Soon after she finishes it with tears in her eyes.

"This story just gets me every time, because the main character... has the exact same talent as me."

District 12

Ichigo strokes Power's mane.

"Bringing art to life... What are the odds?"

Power wipes her tears and looks at Ichi with her chocolate brown eyes, as Canvas would put it.

"I found this book in an underground bookstore long ago, and I've kept it in my heart ever since."

She sighs.

"The only thing I don't like about it's that Celestia was implied to be the bad guy. I mean, it was a trend among fanfic writers back then..."

The Database of Evil

Bored and frustrated, Bale took out a laptop-like device and began checking his Villains Database, he had made a list of the ten most wicked organizations across the Multiverses.

Bale : Hey guys, wanna hear some information on evil organizations while we wait here?

He began waiting for answers.

Communication

After Lucemon's departure, the Leaders of the Legion saw that communication with Valecor had been reestablished. They began to contact him to ask about his opinion on their plans.

Nightmare:    Listen up my minions, communication with Valecor in the Voidlands has been reestablished, we will make sure he knows of our plans.   

Grogar:    Hopefully he won't be opposed to it.   

Bill:    You bet it.   

They then opened a communications and searched for Valecor's position in the Voidlands, until they found him.

Bill:    Hi Val, how's it going pal?   

Black Hat:    Lord Valecor, it's a pleasure to see you, we've got a few things to tell and ask you about.   

Nightmare:    When Thanos did his snap, turns out the use of duplicated Infinity Gems caused a massive rift in the space-time continuum and began creating a Multiversal Convergence as a result.   

Aku:    We then decided to use it to our advantage so that all words collide into one another and save the trouble of eliminating all heroes for us.   

Grogar:    Afterwards we plan to use the stones to reshape the Multiverse to our liking.   

Nightmare:    All that we request is your opinion on that matter. We're not hiding any secrets nor plotting anything against you.   

Grogar then stepped forward and said a few words before the Leaders' message finished.

Grogar:    Queen Chrysalis, if you're hearing me you better not take too much time with whatever you're doing, as I request your presence for a mission I'll give to you and your teammates.   

HIM: Oh, and if by chance you see 5 weird heroes appear out of a portal randomly, it was my doing.

District 12

"Yeah, I never quite got the whole "evil Celestia" trend myself. I mean, she can be a little mischievous from time to time, but she sure as hell ain't this wicked overlord who spends her time opressing people and cackling like a lunatic."

Ichigo smiles slightly.

"That little flaw aside, though, I did enjoy the story, Power. Like I said before, it was really unique in presentation."

Giratina came back from the training room and began to follow Gamechanger. Despite being ready, Scipion was quite interested by what Bale said.    "Why not?"    he replied, licking his lips.    "We could take them down while fighting Timewrecker. I'm not against causing another bloodshed."   

District 12, Lake

"Yeah, I was drawn (heh) to the unusual format. I haven't been reading any new fanfics lately, but if there's another one that catches my eye, I'll tell you all about it!"

Power keeps the book and eats some of the cookies.

"Want some?"

Ichigo munches on a few of the cookies, internally snickering at Power's little drawing-related pun.

"Thanks for coming all the way out here to join me, by the way, Power. I really do appreciate it."
