Anyone else here watch him? He's a You Tuber that primarily makes Super Smash Bros videos, and lately has seen a surge in popularity thanks to the CPUCS (CPU Championship Series), which is a tournament he holds every Sunday where sixteen level 9 CP Us duke it out for the title. Some characters have even been sponsored from their victories (Link in particular just got sponsored by Audible for winning the Season 2 Invitational) . There are five episodes a season, with the season finale being the invitational, and each season has its own rule set.

So, with the Season 3 premiere "No Fun Allowed" bracket being shown off yesterday, any guesses on who's going to win?

I'm thinking Alph. And I'm surprised there isn't a page for this guy yet.

I like how he put Ken and Rosalina in a match. One way or another, the losing streak will end for one of them.

We'll see who the true Memetic Loser is now. My money's on Ken beating Rosalina.

Also I'm rooting for Incineroar overall, even though I'm not sure he'll win this one. Gotta root for the Heel.

Sure is! Calling it now that this is the beginning of the Dark Vincent arc, where in the wake of victory Vincent now has to overcome the evil lurking within him this whole time. Dark Vin will make Toyconvict look like Rosalina.

That’s not difficult, since Toyconvict made himself look like Rosalina. I honestly can’t remember him winning any of his fights.

Interesting to note that this is the first time in a while where there are no Mii fighters present.

Bluncineroar demonstrated that his first win wasn't a fluke and he's got actual skill.

This dude just out-madmenned Ridley with his win against Zelda

Apparently there are deaths in this that are canon to the CPUCS.

Rosalina actually won some matches! Sweet.

To be fair, she won a game.

Nice finale. Still, I hope there's more CPUCS in the future, if only because I really enjoy watching these tournaments for some reason.

I was really surprised Captain Falcon died, wasn't expecting anyone with a sponsorship to get killed off. Same with Dedede, since he usually won matches against characters who were being pushed as important (putting Toyconvict in prison for good, keeping Dark Vince out of semifinals, that one time he beat Vincent) so I figured he'd pull out a win over Blood Falcon. Also RIP Vincent, though I expected him to die after Alpharad tweeted that people died in CPUCS Endgame.

Got legitimately worried that Kirby was gonna bite the dust too after Dedede Dededied, but then he beat Blood Falcon, at which I breathed a sigh of relief, and won the whole thing, which I approve of for obvious reasons.

It's weird how invested I got in a video consisting of commentary over CP Us in Tournament mode.

Against the another character who never won

So Return of CPU tournament..

I find it hilarious how in "timeskip" tournament the joke is that Rosalina had offscreen multiple tournament win streak, but the Rosalina is actually doing good in this tournament so you can heard them being surprised about that while pretending to be surprised about something else

And then she dies to Blood Falcon

Yup

Funniest thing is that they didn't rig things to make it easier for her, she actually did somehow manage to win this time

(all those cuts during Rosa fights in the main video seems to be them cutting out parts where they are laughing at what is happening)

(the original joke was supposed to be that she is washed up no, but nope )

I'm now imagining Luma as a Rocky coach forcing Rosalina to do a training montage.

Honestly kind of surprised about amount of commentators on youtube and reddit who thinks they rig matches for keyfabe .-. I mean, I could understand more paranoid people suspecting thug finals of being scripted, but resetting entire bracket just to get wins you want for video sounds annoying and not fun. Editing itself takes time, and it couldn't be fun to take multiple takes of matches and brackets on rng just to get specific result.

Like if I was paranoid in this manner, I'd assume that commentary is done after recording so they can write around what happened That would seem more sensible to me than rigging up the matches

(I have to admit though, since they never broke the character during the tournament, I was confused like "Wait, is something going on, did they rig this somehow" and when I saw the video I was like "ah, they cut out the parts where they broke the character" )
