What'll be the meme to come from this one? It's Kravin Time?
Disney100 Marathon | DreamWorks MarathonStand back, Kraven is about to KRAVE!

Bite my shiny metal ass.First movie to surpass one Morbillion dollars to make one Kravillion dollars.
Also, Spider-Man DID make the "That's so Kraven" joke in the Shattered Dimension game.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.I'm just surprised Sony decided this would be their first R-rated Marvel film. Not the one with a mass-murdering serial killer, not the one with the vampires, but the one with the Rhino.
Sony wanted kids to see Venom and sell toys I guess?
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. The carnage things is weird. Since the whole point of Cassidy is that in really he's a massive sociopath despite the occasional dips into trying to give a why.
Disordered minds (the batman crossover ) had a pretty good quote.
>"But isn't that what you want to hear, Doctor? That I was a poor, abused child? That my mother beat me? My father molested me? That I was tortured and hung by my ankles above a pit of broken glass? Well, maybe that's all true. Or maybe... I'm just the inevitable aberration. The soul that's born so black, so twisted, so filled with unreasoning hatred... that there's no explanation. You can't make me sane, Doctor. You can't hope to redeem me. All you can do is kill me. Because, if you don't—I'll break out of here. You have my word on that. And the blood—the glorious blood—will flow like wine!"
It felt like the Carnage symbiote was, essentially, supposed to be a more faithful adaptation of comic!Cletus. Sense the whole dynamic between them is how the Symbiote utterly lacks any of Movie!Kassidy's humanizing traits while being just as depraved.

The First manWas it someone at Sony who said the only suiting up at the end spoiler or just the actor? Feels weird to say Sony made the mistake if it was the actor who spoiled it.
Not to say I am looking forward to the movie, but I also don't think saying it will be a disaster before we even see the trailer is the right mindset to have for any movie really.

Fan-Preferred Couple cleanup threadSometimes those sorts of things just happen. Wonder Woman had a big twist as to who Ares was disguising himself as, but that was spoiled by press releases and things like Wikipedia before the movie actually came out.
No surprise but Amazon Prime's Silk and Spider-Man Noir projects are on hold until the WGA strike is settled.

A Miles Morales movie is in the works.
If it takes place in the same verse as Venom and Morbius, I could see it being their answer to not being able to use Peter.
Interested to see how it approaches the obvious Spider-Verse comparisons.
Funnily enough there's a line from Ganke in the new Spider-Verse movie that's indirectly a jab at MCU Ned.
But I won't say. Nothing major though.

I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. Is there anything stopping them from using the Spiderverse movies as a jumping point for a cinematic universe?
The First manNone whatsoever. In fact, Across the Spider-Verse positions itself pretty well to potentially be a key component of the Sonyverse, with two things of note:
The first being a cameo from Donald Glover's Uncle Aaron. The live-action one from Spider-Man: Homecoming, played in live action by Glover. He briefly interacts with the animated Miles Morales of Sony-1610.
(The numbers are a bit screwy. Earth-199999 is 616 in the MCU, not to be confused with the comic book Earth-616. Spider-Verse uses the correct 199999 designation for the MCU. However, Spider-Verse also uses 616 as the dimension Peter B. Parker comes from, and uses 1610 for Miles's dimension - Not to be confused with the comics' Earth-1610, which is the Ultimate Universe that Miles first debuted in as a comic book character.)
It's a short bit, but it asserts that the Spider-Verse films are in continuity with the MCU - Something that's also asserted by Miguel directly referencing the events of No Way Home. And the MCU, of course, is in continuity with the Sonyverse. Venom's paid a visit to the MCU-616/Earth-199999, while Vulture's been inexplicably transported to the Venomverse.
That last bit is also interesting, however. Across the Spider-Verse asserts that the collider explosion from Into the Spider-Verse has caused a cascading series of dimensional rips that keep transplanting people from one reality to another. Miguel's whole Spider-Society operation is primarily tasked with hunting down people that got lost in the wrong dimension and sending them home.
Glover's Uncle Aaron, now fully promoted to Prowler, is one such person. We're never told what universe he got kicked out into, but we're to assume the Spider-Society will take care of him and send him back to MCU-616/Earth-199999. So. Now it's a multidimensional plot point that Into the Spider-Verse's events are causing characters to constantly get picked up and punted into different universes.
And that? That puts a bit of a different spin on Adrian Toomes suddenly being shunted into the Venomverse because of "something to do with Spider-Man".
x3 Pretty sure Sony Pictures Animation are already working on a Spider-Women spin off, and whenever the live action Miles movie happens they will do a bunch of MythologyGags to Spider-Verse.
@Ultimatum
I am not really sure I get what is illogical about the concept?
The spider-verse films are vastly better received then the live action Sony-verse films they have tried. And the basic premise of Spider-verse basically screams spinoff potential. And this way you could avoid the 'Spiderman cinematic universe without Spiderman' thing that has been mocked.
The First manAccording to Production List, here's a basic synopsis of the upcoming El Muerto, which has a listed shooting start day of August 7, 2023.
We've had a pretty detailed synopsis for the movie for a while now
For context: A bit from The Weekly Planet in which one of the hosts reads out a fake synopsis for El Muerto based on existing cliches and low-hanging fruit. Definitely worth a listen to, in my opinion.

Oh this movie is going to be such a glorious disaster.
