Yeah, these might need some cleaning...
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessThis has been talked to death before, with little effect.
Not even the creation of Weak to Fire fixed Kill It with Fire.
We can never truly eradicate the coronavirus, but we can suppress its threat like influenzaDid a cleanup actually occur, or was it just talked about?
Link to TRS threads in project mode here.So Weak to Fire's existence means that the only unique concept left for Kill It with Fire is "people burning to death", which admittedly does fit the trope name, but I'm not sure whether or not it's a trope-worthy concept on its own.
That's called Man on Fire
We can never truly eradicate the coronavirus, but we can suppress its threat like influenzaAh yes, forgot about that one. So basically, Kill It with Fire is a totally redundant trope that may as well be cut entirely, unless I missed something about it.
I don't see why not.
We can never truly eradicate the coronavirus, but we can suppress its threat like influenzaI would agree that Weak to Fire (as written) is covering Kill It with Fire.
I'm under the impression that these tropes were originally meant to be for creatures that are specifically weak to fir/water/ice, but right now the way these tropes are used is all over the place.
Am I misunderstanding these tropes or are they massively misused? Because in many cases, these tropes are being used in the place of a different trope.
