Infographic: What are kids’ favorite shows on Netflix?
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.Kids love them some Stranger Things. Also you can tell they polled the UK because Doctor Who is #1 there and nowhere in sight on the US list.
Twelve Forever turned out to be absolutely excellent. If you have Netflix you should watch it.

Hell in many places Netflix doesn't even carry Doctor Who, even if that country got the rights to air it on TV.
Whether this is cost cutting in the face of the upcoming Content Wars or disappointment with what Netflix executives have gotten in those divisions (case in point, the aforementioned poll on this thread showing kids thoroughly disinterested in most of the animated originals save Boss Baby) remains to be seen. If it’s the latter, one may expect a fundamental shift in the kinds of shows they get.
I'm wondering how it'll affect their upcoming work from their animation studio. I think the Dreamworks cartoons will be safe in the near future, at least.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).Netflix has been making a concentrated effort to have their movies recognized and capable of winning awards since the Academy was apparently grumpy about Roma getting nominations and going home with Best Director.
As such, two animated Netflix movies are coming early to theaters just in time for Awards Season:
- I Lost My Body: in which a hand tries to find its body, is coming November 15, 2019 to US theaters (and November 22 in the UK) before heading for Netflix on the 29th.
- Klaus: in which an overly ambitious postman tries to bring the postal service to a village, only to meet a white-bearded man who makes toys is coming November 8th, before heading to Netflix on the 15th.
Yeah, I REALLY want to see more of Klaus.
Dragons Rescue Riders, a preschool show based on How To Train Your Dragon, comes out September 27.
Seis Manos, the next show from Powerhouse Animation (Castlevania, the upcoming Masters of the Universe Revelations) is debuting October 3rd.

The Green Eggs And Ham series comes out November 8.

Bump:
After being planned to have a movie for years and going absolutely nowhere, Bone, possibly the most quintessential indie comic book hands-down, is getting an animated series on Netflix!

"Green Eggs and Ham" requires some serious Adaptation Expansion. The original book is literally just one guy pestering another guy to eat some strange food.
This article mainly talks about the Nickelodeon/Netflix deal, but near the end, it mentions "Fast And The Furious: Spy Racers" coming out on December 26. Ryan Lofty (Harvey Girls Forever) is one of the composers.
I just found this article. It's interesting how 4 voice actors (Tyler Posey, Jorge Diaz, Grey De Lisle Griffin, and Carlos Alazraqui) from Elena Of Avalor .

There's a Christmas special for Spirit: Riding Free on December 6.
Prior to New Year’s, Netflix released a top 10 list of their kids and family shows, as well as numerous other top 10’s -

According to Netflix, Green Eggs and Ham was the second most watched in kids and family, with the Dark Crystal series in #4.
What’s interesting is what’s missing from pretty much all the lists. No Dragon Prince, no She-Ra, etc.
(The most popular anime in Japanese Netflix? Their adaptation of Ultraman.)

Is Crisis Jung available outside of France? It looks very similar as Lastman but seems to be an hyper-sexualised parody of Fist of the North Star.
I am quite curious to see how it will develop. I thought the first episodes to be quite entertaining but I can see how many people may regard this as trash ^^.

What company hasn't made at least one decision that came off as real stupid? The big thing is how they recover from their missteps.
