Needs Help: Film.Roundhay Garden Scene

Literature.The Ugly Barnacle page is not the same as JustForFun.The Ugly Barnacle page. I changed Literature.The Ugly Barnacle to comply with policies of Indentation and Speculation, on the authorization of an ATT thread with a moderator post. However, my edit was reverted by another troper and nobody has bothered to repeat the clean-up.

That's not an example of the work being listed on trope pages as if it were real.

Kill Em All has an example of The Ugly Barnacle.

It is NOT a real work, it was just a stupid joke on a cartoon. And it was barely even a story. To call this a "work" is absolutely preposterous.

The Kill Em All example, it doesn't make anything up or make the story seem longer than it is, but it's still undet Literature instead of Western Animation. I'm pretty sure that tropes used by a Show Within a Show get listed under the real work the fictional work is from.

From a cursory glance at the wicks, some are for tropes it actually uses, others aren't, and some are under Literature with others under Western Animation.

But remember my quote from post 25. That was a mod decision. Has it been overturned, or are people just not following the rules?

Agreed. Back to Roundhay Garden Scene. Take The Ugly Barnacle to another thread. A lengthy ATT discussion on it ended with no consensus (just noting it). Bring the page up with the current site admins, perhaps.

Once crowners work again, we should have a crowner on what to do with RGS. Options: keep in Film, move to Useful Notes, cut but mention in Useful Notes.
