I'm sure she will join eventually. Given the title of next week's episode, I'm guessing she and Nadeshiko will have happy thoughts realizing that they're both looking at Fuji from different angles and that it's fun hanging out together. Rin doesn't seem resistant to the idea at all (and does seem to like camping with Nadeshiko), after all.
I also want Rin's friend to come along too, because she's great.
It's been fun.Happy to see the cast camp at somewhere other than the Fuji foothills once a while. Central Japan has lots of mountain ranges. And I'm sure Afro is a dog person.
& I think the problem is Rin looks like a Jungian introvert, in the meaning that while she's not shy nor have No Social Skills, she finds being with others tiring.
Oh yes. Being in Mount Kirigamine, Rin is already sort of close to the Slow Start cast at Karuizawa.
Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaYes but seeing her attitude conflict with her love of camping would make a lot of the scenes explaining camping far more interesting and funny with the newbie Energizer Bunny.
She could easily start to take pages out of Hotarou’s handbook on avoiding contact only to get drawn right in as Nadeshiko keeps going and going and going.

Well, if it's any consolation, the full version of Fuyubiyori, the ED theme, includes the line 'I thought I preferred being alone, but I was wrong', so I expect that Rin warming up to going on trips with the Outclub will be the major focus of the show. Even if it does usually end up like the ED - with Rin relaxing in her chair, reading, while the others chat and go to sleep - that's still camping together, and holy crap I just got some warm fuzzies typing that.
This show is too damn pure.
It's been fun.Yeah but that’s going to be past the point where Nadeshiko would need to bug Rin. Sadface
@28 So, you're a psychology expert as well? There's no indicator that Rin necessarily finds being with others tiring, and the complexity of introversion means that trust, as well as preference, are also possible factors. Keep the science out of this. It's as @29 said: the fun is watching the others, especially Nadeshiko, try and bring her into the Outdoors Activity Club's fold.

Being cleverer than you look is better than looking cleverer than you are.She just says she prefers being alone when camping...
There's nothing else to it...
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.I actually like the Rin Alone segments. They are very relaxing.
Turn people into packages to save money. Don't they have cub funds tho? What are they paying from their own pocket?
Nadeshiko sure has a lot of energy. I loved the joke with her running around while the others were exhausted.
The best part was probably the "training" at the end. Those faces
Wow, pet peeve much?
They arnt an official club though, they said they didn’t have enough members. I would have to go watch episode 2 again but I am pretty sure they said they needed 5 to be a real club and get a budget + real club room.
Except when she pays to camp.
I don't think she's ever slept in a house.
I like Aki a lot more than her character design. She's so cool. Especially when she's all packed up and ready for shipment.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot. It's not my intention to bring hard science into a Kirara show.
Really, considering the price at that cafe Rin went into, is it a case of Adam Smith Hates Your Guts?
Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaRin's in a rural area, so the elevated prices are from the extra cost of transporting the supplies out there. Yuru Camp isn't a game with levels, so the idea that stuff becomes more expensive as one levels up or gains experience doesn't apply here. Simple market factors are at play here more than anything.
Triggered, much? This isn't an academic seminar on the physiology of Japanese youth.

The only resource you need for tropesWell, I completely understand it's a purely market issue. I just wondered if such a case count as that trope.
Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaNah, just Rin having to worry about her camp fees. It's a genuinely pretty expensive hobby for a high schooler, especially looking at her gear and scooter.
It's been fun.So for players of Persona 4. The town and camp that the 3 girls visited is Fuefuki, the town that inspired Inaba.
The soundtrack's set for release on March 21 and will retail for 3456 Yen. No word on how many songs yet, but it will have two disks. I look forwards to this, love the music in Yuru Camp
Being cleverer than you look is better than looking cleverer than you are.Yeah, it's great stuff. I love the Celtic-ish sound.
It's been fun.
Can you show evidence of that? The train station they used is Yamanashishi Station in Yamanashi City.
Persona 4 or in Yuru? In Yuru they straight up said it. for persona 4, here are some comparison photos. The train station in P4 was closed not too long ago, and it wasn't that one you linked.

Nice! They should have tried the fsteak.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.You know, I'll stop saying it every week when I stop feeling it every week: I love this show. It's like the perfect reward for a week's work to watch this before bed on a Friday night. Couldn't have planned it better myself.
It's been fun.Randomness finds it cuter when the quiet girl gets excitable, that's really adorable.
Also despite not really being together much, the two characters already get along really well. At this point it would be nice to see them interact more.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.I agree with Randomness.
The ending with Rin and Nadeshiko texting was the best scene.
How did those three not get eggs all over their shirts?
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.
Agreed. My only issue with it right now is they are keeping the cast so separated, things would be better overall if Rin was acting as the reluctant senpai.
