Yeah, I'm placing my bets on a Kirby game as well. I find it weird that he'd play another platformer so soon, but then it wasn't his original plan, and it's about the only thing I can think of that would fit both hints.
I think it's interesting seeing Emil play a game that's so out of his comfort zone. It would be interesting to see him do more. I liked the TRG playhthrough of Link to the Past for a similar reason; it was a Zelda game yes, but it was so old that he had to do a lot of adjusting and it made for a more interesting series.
I feel like it wouldn't suit his main channel though.
His LP style is pretty well established at this point.
That said, I have loved watching him play games fully for the first time over on TRG.
"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome RobOf course, he only does LP's of games he knows really well. By his own admission a blind run on his own channel probably wouldn't work out too well. But it would be nice to see more of it on Stephen's channel or TRG.
Series announcement tomorrow; final hint: "•... this game connects to two other games in some way, we will be seeing all three."
Sounds like Sonic 3 & Knuckles to me.

"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."...Kid Icarus? I think it had something like that at one point...
Some people are suggesting it might be Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, since there are bonus levels based on Super Mario 3D World and Super Mario Odyssey. Not sure how likely that would be, since he just finished a Mario LP and he tends to spread those out. But then again, he had to shift his schedule around.
It's Kirby Triple Deluxe.
I haven't played it myself, but I do have access to a copy - so if it looks interesting I'll give it a shot.
"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome RobGods, that ice cream at the start of the video made my teeth hurt... I have no idea how people eat that kind of stuff without overloading on sugar.
Anyhow, interesting new series. Been a while since we had a game from that franchise. I have never had any contact with anything in it, so it should make for a new experience.
Ah, so my initial guess that it was a Kirby game was right. That game is pretty good, so this should be a fun playthrough.
For those wondering about the other two games it connects to, I think it's referring to the two subgames packaged with the game. One's Kirby Fighters (a Smash Bros-esque fighting game) and the other is Dedede's Drum Dash (a rhythm game starring Dedede). Both of them later got their own individual releases.
Kirby: Triple Deluxe will be back today.

Chugga got Stinky in his New Horizons town.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Double post: Funny story from Chugga.
TL;DR: He was sick for the past two weeks, thought he had COVID-19, but was actually allergic to the fragrance of a new soap he had bought.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."...great job, chuggaa
I've been catching up on some of Chuggaa's Lets Plays I only partially watched.
I finished Black/White a few days ago and am now about 60% though Chrono Trigger.
Youtube is fairly good about watch history, although its unfortunate the older ones don't always have it.
There are a few I know I watched 75%+ of, but am not sure exactly where I stopped.

"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome Rob...did Chuggaa say anything about skipping a video today, or is he just so consumed with Animal Crossing that he straight-up forgot?
I'm going to assume that's the case.
It's been 3000 years…It seems a bit closer to the fact he went to a hospital because of his funny story.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."
Chuggaa dropped a small hint on his twitter today:
Looking at my completed notes and they turned out to be 47 pages... So much for a shorter, easier game!
