I have no idea what this is.
@Geth Knight: In terms of subject matter, or are you having difficulty accessing it?
♭What. This is fucking crazy and I love it. A lot of Homestuck fans seem to be loving it, too.
My thought is this is why the site didn't completely outlaw the Web Original namespace, because this...thing doesn't fit in any known namespace. (This is not a bad thing.)
It's clever, and fairly entertaining. I wouldn't call it great, but it's good.
Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)Every time someone introduces me, an unrepentant and slightly obsessive Homestuck fan, to something Homestuck fans supposedly love (Night Vale, Undertale, The Adventure Zone, and now this), I walk away underwhelmed. Kinda makes me wonder what it is that other people like about Homestuck, because this isn't even slightly comparable.
So, it's the story of a satellite gradually becoming self-aware and interacting with another satellite that emulates OJ Simpson? And in the future, football fields are the size of several states?
Okay, points for originality. It doesn't suck or anything. But I've been desperately searching for media that will touch me in the same places ways Homestuck touched me, and it seems my quest must continue.
I will say, however, that the sentence "Neatly partitioned meats and cheeses appeal to me on an aesthetic level" is god-tier writing.

Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?Of course this is a Jon Bois project. Weird shit like this is his specialty.
...I took the plunge.
Good thing I packed my bags, because this is one hell of a triiiiIIIIIIIIIIIIiiiiiiiiiiiIIIIIIIIIp.
but HOW?I think you're focusing more on how Homestuck made you feel here (which is unfair - this is only just starting out), and less on other points of comparison that I imagine people are making, like the walls of color-coded text, the multimedia aspect, and just the utter bizarreness of the whole thing.
Anyway, this is amazing. I look forward to seeing how it unfolds.
Oh God! Natural light!I've been seeing people talk about this. Finally decided to give it a look.
This is an experience. Wow.
/crawls back under rockIs... orange text davesprite?
@Deadpoolrocks: It's actually the Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer, AKA Juice.
♭What. This is definitely a special flavor of off-the-walls insane. I've been keeping a close eye on it and the writing is very engaging. I think there's a lot of mystery to explore and I hope it will live up to its potential.
Dear god. Orange-yellow text acts a lot like Dave.
Yeah, I'm definitely hooked.
This is damn cool. I'm definitely keeping up with this.
Okay some of those lines sound so much like they're lifted straight from Dave's dialogue that it's actually a little creepy. Interesting stuff though. I kind of zone when it gets too deep into the football terminology but everything else is solid.
This song needs more love.Nancy McGunnell's short monologue at the end of "Bee, Nebraska" really gets to me.

And the Dave vibes don't stop from getting stronger. Game 27 is some Sweet Bro and Hella Jeff nonsense.
What the hell are in those skyscrapers? what.
<3 jon bois
and this latest installment about game 27 speaks to me regarding a game that gets ludicrous due to more and more additional rules that create emergent behavior

"Never let the truth get in the way of a good story." TwitterThis game is fucking glorious. I hope football is played like that in the future.
And we have an intermission
Link.
Just started yesterday. I think this is the right forum for this. It might not show up well on mobile. The black text overtaking the news article is what's supposed to happen. Once you get to the calendar, start scrolling down.
♭What.
