This is where out-of-character discussion takes place. Feel free to ask for a recap or other questions, talk about the goings-on in-thread, and whatnot.

I'm also going to put useful information here as well, not that there's a whole lot to put here currently.

• List of Locations: The current worlds and what they're like. Feel free to comment if there's anything that needs clarifying.
• List of recurring NPCs: A list of recurring NPCs (both the GM's and the players') and what they're like (appearances, etc.). Feel free to add your own if you plan on making a recurring NPC and feel it's necessary.

• On introducing your characters: I'm not going to be super strict about where you can and can't start your characters off at. The Traveler's Hub is the default starting location, but if you'd rather introduce your character in another location then that's fine as well. Just let me know beforehand.
• On time: Given the nature of the setting, it's naturally not going to be the same time across all five worlds at once. As far as time goes, if somebody else hasn't already established a time for a specific world you can go ahead and define it as needed, so long as it's all right with everyone else currently in the same world.

So first order of business: I'm planning on opening up a live discussion of some kind, which is probably going to supplant this discussion thread but whatever. To that end, I have a question: Skype or Discord?

I'm one of the very few people who generally prefers Skype, for the simple fact Skype is much easier to recap. For me Discord tends to be really finicky about showing me unread bottoms (it likes to drop me off at the bottom of the most recent messages without giving me the blue message to go to the first unread message) and notifying me when there's new messages.

On the other hand, Discord allows one to make individual channels (which means I can dedicate separate chats to on- and off-topic chatter), it's easier for people to join, and it seems to be most people's preference.

So ultimately, I guess I'll leave this choice up to the players.

Honestly, I prefer skype just because my phone doesn't have the space to download a discord app. If you do decide to go with discord, I probably won't be able to join in.

I'd prefer Discord over Skype, but I'm fine with either.

@Pro Trash: Just checked and Discord takes up about 18 MB compared to Skype's 58 MB (at least on iPhone). So if you have enough space on your phone for Skype you should be able to download Discord.

Well, it's might be easier for me to use Skype at present since I have it on my phone and the majority of my other chats are on there. But I've got discord on computer and I use that when I"m playing FF XIV with people, so either works for me, really.

I use Skype on a daily basis, but I have never used Discord, so I would prefer using Skype over Discord.

I'm in the prefers Discord camp, but it appears Skype is the larger camp. So oh well. I can't say I'll be in skype as often as I am in discord, but I'm still fine with using skype.

Of the people who've weighed in, it seems 2 are for Skype, 2 are for Discord, and 2 are fine with either. So right now it seems to be a tie. =V

On a different note, Thrall helped me come up with actual names for the locations, so that's been settled.

Ultimately settled on using Skype for now. Moving to Discord is an option later on down the line if we find it suits us better.

@Desdendelle: Just so you're aware, Locoman's going to be out for this week. I'm not saying you can't have Dar pursue Rom; just be aware that it might be a while before you get a response.

I hope I'm not making Amai OOC. I'm having a little difficulty balancing his genuine like of people and his ruthless approach to dealing with evil.

Just a disclaimer to whoever interacts with Abel or Henry; I'm taking a trip to Fort Worth to see family, which means I'll be on the road a lot, which means I probably won't be able to post for much of tomorrow. I'll try to at least get a few short posts during breaks.

I have no idea what I'm doing so I'm just adding in random buildings to go to until we do stuff. At the moment my only ideas for what Meetra would suggest are getting info on the city from some sort of tourism thingy, finding out what people are wanted dead or alive in the city to get money, and maybe going to the cops later to find out any autopsy info on the dead wraith chick.

But that's just Meetra suggesting shit in the game, I don't care if we want to do anything else so if you gots ideas, I'm game to go along with whatever.

Sorry I haven't been posting much — been on holiday the past week plus busy with other roleplays.

I'll have Amai stick with Meetra for now, 'til I come up with something for him to do.

I'll get to your new signup tomorrow, Enirboreh. I had a long, busy day today and I'm kind of exhausted both mentally and physically.

So, wait, where did the battle with the Wraith end? I tried to get Alex involved but I might have made a mistake with where they were.
