Noriaki's eyes seem to gleama but with curiosity when the Mawile mentions Viral Aggression, then he brings up his name...

"... That would actually be me, my good sir", the Decidueye chuckled, tipping his hat a bit.

I hobble along after Marsha to try and catch up and also see just what's going on up front, muttering under my breath in discomfort every time I land a step. Once I catch up, I squeeze Marsha's arm a bit and then shift my hand down to try and grab hold of her hand so I can balance myself and also, just to hold her hand. This shit hurts, man. Mentally and physically. Regardless before finding out what's occuring up front I also speak with Rex and Bailey.

You guys are learning that quick? Wow, you're gonna be about as good as the rest of us are in no due time. What moves?

That's precisely why I am here. I work for a group of officers and I need to know the whereabouts of a group of pokemon who were part of a larger group here. Uh...can we take this elsewhere? I had to fly in here on very short notice and not only am I tired I do not wanna fly back tonight.

Though she's unclear even internally if she's apologizing for her hesitance or the possibility of hurting him, Mila finally does get herself to a point where she's ready to spar. Starting things off with a more measured approach, she follows through the full process she'd done before: building up the charge, releasing just a portion of it into a slightly off-kilter Electro Ball that shot towards Nyquil, and working to dissipate the energy back into herself. It was slightly easier now, but she wondered how well it'd work while she also had to avoid attacks. Though she hasn't noticed it, the accidental use of Agility from earlier means that her attack shoots off suddenly, coming straight for the Quilava.

"... Ah, so you must be the "Baron" who sent the letter. How nice of you to decide to come to us", said Noriaki, "I must thank you for the Decidium-Z you gifted me, but at the same time, I am wondering what led you to seek out my allies and myself."

While I was supposed to be 'ready for anything,' the spontaneity of the Electro Ball makes me momentarily panic. I try to jump to the side, but it still manages to clip my hind leg. "Eep!" (Oh, okay, I think she's good to go!) Not long after that, I try using my new trick, too. I give a quick huff, materializing several fire shards that fly around me. They spin around me momentarily before I launch them at Mila. Even though I thought it was something new and stronger, it's ultimately just a flashier Ember…

"Yeah!" Bailey agrees with Rex. "This place is great! I think we've both learned a lot about what we can do now."

Mila tries to move to the side of the burning objects, but one still manages to clip and singer her arm. For a moment, the fire licks at her fur but she hurriedly pats it out, rubbing the area repeatedly to try to quell the sting. Once more, she builds up energy and prepares an attack, though her speed comes at a cost to technique and the orb she produces jitters slightly side to side, moving more slowly towards its target. As she watches it go, worry spreads across her face and she starts to drop down her levels of energy. It's taking her time, though...

"He taught me Fury Swipes and Mud Slap... and also how to guard against an attack and curl up into a ball to protect myself." Rex tells Marlon. "For Bailey, it was Astonish, Minimize, and, Psychic, right? They all seem like really cool moves."

Her next attack comes, but I'm able to dodge this one more easily. Again, I use the same attack, manifesting more fire around me. Only this time, I send two volleys of fire bolts to fly at her in a pincer formation.

(So the Baron came here himself. I knew we'd run into him ourselves sooner or later, I'd thought it'd be later. And just nearby, a Mimikyu's also there, though I'm not sure if he's with the Mawile or not. I didn't really speak to them, since I didn't really have much to say.)

Sounds like youse guys are set for a whiles! (Marsha says.) Let's get back to the othahs. I sounds kinda like they might be done.

(She begins moving to join the party who aren't still fighting, lamenting under her breath about not being able to doze in a pond like she had been planning all the way.)

Oh, they are? (Turning to look, I do see that most of our group has congregated around the front of the dojo.) Oh, they are...well, thank you for all your help, sir!

(I begin to make my way toward everyone else when I almost run into a Mimikyu that suddenly falls down in front of me.) Oh! Oh, pardon me. Are you all right?

"Alright!" Bailey follows Marsha. "So, uh... where are we going next? Sorry."

Leaving dojo?

I follow back up to the front of the dojo, still relatively unaware of what exactly is occuring up there.

Hey, where are we going to sleep tonight? That one lady offered but if we want to go back to Foxfell as soon as we can tomorrow that may not be a good idea.

The Malamar nods and resumes his work after watching Dinah leave.

Jeffrey, the Dos Santos family butler, is out doing general cleaning when Tiff and the Pidgeot arrive.

Oh thank heavens, young Miss Dos Santos, you're still alive..was wondering where you were when I didn't see you come home with your siblings. Who's this?

Right. I need to know where a certain group of mons are, and I was hoping you two could help me. On the behest of Officers Roh and Hawk, and concerned citizens Grigori Strel, Marlon Redfield, and Dinah Martinez...do you know the present locations of a Goodra, a Dragonite, a Ditto, a Riolu, and a whole slew of mons who are believed to be carrying curses are?

The siblings were around this group for the entire time they've been here. Why? Tiff, what happened after the Gorebyss washed ashore?

Well uh...that long story involves those mons.

"I was hoping to join your little ragtag group of adventurers." I respond to the archer bird, then notice a 'Mon lying on its face, "Are you alright?"

I also got singed a little, but I brush it off.

"Well... We would not be fully against that, but this is rather short notice. I imagine the others, like myself, would be curious as to why...?", said Noriaki, now also looking to the Mimikyu fallen over, "...?"

Before he could check on the smaller ghost Pokemon, Marlon caught his attention.

"Well, for that end we could possibly begin moving towards Foxfell and get as far as we can before night falls, then we set up camp, perhaps?", he suggested.

I dust myself off and go see what's going on, I guess.

Mila doesn't react in time, getting hit by the full force of the attack and losing her control over the remaining amount of her energy, which shoots off towards Nyquil in a static-y, disorganized Thunder Wave. It takes her a moment to recover afterwards, feeling disorganized and struggling with the injuries moreso from pain than physical damage. She's not used to fighting yet, and even though her body could take more it's her mind that's struggling to keep pace.

Well, that's a good enough idea for me. Only problem being I don't know how much longer my leg can carry me for before I have to stop to rest.

I say, now gathering the scope of what seems to be occuring here, but not noting anything just yet. I subtly heave in and out with more discomfort.

(Well, it looks like the Mimikyu is alright, I guess. I resume heading back toward everyone else and try to get an idea of what's going on.) What's going on now? (I ask.)

Fortunately, my attack worked! Unfortunately, (Huh. That… wasn't as strong as I ho– OHSHIT) I was more prepared for a straight up attack instead of her actual retaliation. The entire Thunder Wave coats my body, causing me to shake uncontrollably for a bit. "A-A-A-A-A-Agh?!" … and now, I'm paralyzed. (Oh. OH. WAIT, THIS IS BAD.) I try to move my body, but I kinda… can't. (UH. UHHH, CRAP. GOTTA DO SOMETHING. DO SOMETHING. SOMETHING. SOMETHING, SOMETHING, SOMETH– FLAME BURST!) I didn't finish the manual, but I think I have a decent idea. And right now, that seems good enough! I inhale and puff up my cheeks, building up a blaze in my mouth. However, because of my haste, I start adding more power than I mean to. A lot more power. Like, waaay too much. The rest of my body is coated in fire. Thinking that this is it, even though it isn't, I shoot out a huge fireball at Mila. Nyquil used Burn Up! And as I watch it fly, I feel a strange chill in my body and realize: (oh no, i fucked up) Considering how long it took me to charge up that attack, I can only hope that she was prepared to dodge.

On seeing Nyquil begin another attack, Mila pushes herself to move out of the way and follows with a second use of Agility. She can feel her heart pounding as she sprints out of the line of fire of the attack, just barely getting far enough that she avoids direct contact with the attack. Still, she can feel the heat radiating off of it, and her legs are hit with a wave of heat as it passes by. Tumbling to the ground with a bare modicum of composure, Mila looks over to Nyquil just in time to spot the fires on his body seeming to fade. Reading the situation, she rushes over to him with her newly-augmented speed and places a paw on him, muttering likewise even faster than earlier.

"Areyouokay? Whatwasthat? Ihaven'tseensomethinglikethatbefore.."

I let out a sigh of relief. (Oh, thank God, she's okay.) I, on the other hand… "Huh? I dunno. I was trying to use this move I was reading about, but it didn't wor– Wuuaggh! Wh-Why's it… so cold all of a sudden?" I shudder and start rubbing my paws up and down my arms. I try to warm my body up with some fire.
"…?" I turn my head to try and look at my back. The tail-fire that should be forming is just coming out as weak sputters… "Huh?" Again, I try to ignite, but… nothing. "Hey, what… did I just do?" I've burnt myself out.
