Mila shifts away from Reimi almost immediately after she speaks, not eager to give herself any more opportunities to slip up or let on more information than necessary. Plus, she'd like to find Niles and practice with him, as she'd asked about earlier. She hopes he doesn't feel left out by her quick initial lesson.

As she searches though, she hears a comment about a Raichu and she straightens out her back, trying to look through the crowd for who might have mentioned her.

"Huh? What's going on?"

Meanwhile, I've been wrapped up in my reading. In fact, I've almost finished the manual. However, my attention is pulled away at the mention of mail, specifically for Mila and Noriaki. And, despite it being kinda rude, I can't help but be a little nosy.

If I don't clash, I don't change. The world ends at my borders, and the best moments slip away.

She summons one such Ice Shard to demonstrate. As it floats in midair it morphs shape a little, going from the standard shard, to a cube, to a circle, and back again.

".. I wouldn't call it effortless, since I need to think about it, but I wouldn't call it super difficult?"

Yikes, did I really tire out that fast? If it was only three minutes as Marsha indicated then...that's not very good. Even then, though, all the walking we had to do to get back to Narcia and then the hard landing during all that stuff in the funhouse didn't do me favors either. I find myself shifting around, trying to get comfortable and trying to sit in a way that lessens the pain.

Well, it's just that...I feel really exhausted right now. You know, everything that's happened since yesterday has just felt like a massive blur and I haven't had the time to really rest this thing. I am trying to fight through the pain but right now, it just hurts. Certainly none of the news about Goobert and everyone else have helped me.

   Well uh...can't you think of any thoughts you....don't normally think of? That's generally how you start making the energy. It's how a lot of Dark-Types do that.

"That's odd... That a royal from a place I am unfamiliar with would reach out to me all of the sudden", the Decidueye muttered, seeming a bit confused as he still scanned his red eyes over the words on the paper.

The Aromatisse by his side leans in to try and peek at the letter as well.

If you really can't join the server now, than I would like to let you know upfront that the stuff you're setting up is looking like it'd start an entire story arc, which just won't fly for now because we actually have a bit of a queue of arcs to come.

Okay, it's not a move I can personally show ya, either, but it's easy to explain. (Stanley tells Rex.) You just give a few nicely timed swings with your claws barred. Most folks try to go for at least five.

(Stanley swings his rocky arms a few times to demonstrate. He catches Bailey chiming in as he does so.)

I can see it now. Heading back to Silversand, getting time to rest, spending time with Marsha, getting myself back up to speed...it would really be nice. But what else do I see? I see...this group of ours on the whole. I feel like I'd be letting them down for being hypocritical and taking my own break from all the madness. Yet even still, that's an idea I certainly can't not field.

Now, while it's not the worst idea ever, I feel like I'd be letting myself and everyone else down if I did the very thing that wound up leading Goobert and everyone else with him into whatever mess they might've ended up in, which was leaving to take a break, you know?

I lay my head down onto my hands.

This honestly sucks. Having a million different things being thrown at me and I feel like I'm starting to wear myself thin. Plus it's just like, what if we find out the worst happened with Goobert and them? Flung into another adventure to save them with no time to get back to feeling like myself again.

I lay my head on Marsha's shoulder. At least she's been always there for me.

He turns away from the others to give himself some room and tries swinging his right claw at the air in front of him, unintentionally staggering forward a bit. He then tries swinging his left claw and his right again in turn, but his motions are a bit slow and clumsy and he loses balance for a moment, almost falling down.

I lift my head off Marsha's shoulder and nod in agreement—or more or less hope for how this whole situation plays out. After yawning for a moment followed by a twinge of pain I speak again.

You know, my number one priority right now is just to get some sleep in and feel (at least somewhat) more prepared. I just hope you're right that whatever's happened isn't too bad. Think everyone else is ready to do the same? Because I know I am.

I look down at my leg again. Adorned by the bandage, the wound sits there, not very present on the outside, but on the inside having definitely done damage. I sigh.

I know this'll get better with time, but back home I never had to face something this crippling.

"S-Sorry," Says Rex as he regains his balance. "Okay, let me try again..."

He takes a deep breath and tries to keep his feet firmly planted on the ground. One, two, three, four, five! he repeats in his head, trying to focus on the rhythm. One, two, three, four, five...

He swings his claw again as if he is trying to cut the air in front of him, then does the same with the other claw. One... two...! He stops to catch his breath for a few seconds, then makes a few more scratching motions. One, two, three...! One, two, three...!

Rex unconsciously moves forward a couple of steps while swinging his claws, but manages to maintain his balance this time. After a few more moments, he then stops, panting a little. "...Whew."

"No, I don't recognize that Pelipper from anywhere before", said Noriaki, "I believe she is simply the messenger."

The top hat-clad Decidueye looked back to the letter again, pulling out the Z-crystal that was with it. He inspected the green crystal in the light, making out the Decidueye-shaped symbol within it.

"Well... I have no idea who this is or why he wishes to meet me, but I suppose there would be no harm", he sighed, "It is somewhere nearby, and the fact that he went out of his way to give me Decidium-Z makes me doubt it to be a trap."

"This is rather strange, still", Hikari commented, "It just feels so out of the blue..."

Mila moves to approach the newcomer, walking next to Niles in the process. Once she hears their comments, however, she pauses to think about the situation. Royalty? Did they want something to do with her because of Autumn? But why not go to her directly? Or better yet, Summer and Winter? Seeing them approach, Mila looks down to try to avoid handling the situation immediately, only to notice that she'd stepped right in front of Nyquil without noticing.

"Oh, sorry— well, I guess I can take the letter, but I'm not familiar. Are you sure you don't have the wrong mons?"

Mila speaks quickly, crouching down slightly before standing back up and shifting on her feet as she waits to hear what the Pelipper has to say. Her accidental use of agility from earlier may be coming back to bite her.
